We march about 75
Each show is 180
We may not be the best, but we sure do act like it.
And, we don't care about trophies, it's the way we feel like a family on and off the field.

(What does white pants and white shoes have to do with how good you are?)

System.out.print("

White pants have something to do with how easy it is to tell you're out of step, I think.

High School:
We were about a 3A in our area, marching something under 100.
We won some trophies, which was always nice, but not necessary.
Our drumline was excellent, often taking 1st in the division.
Only practiced 3 times a week, but had tons of fun doing it.

In college it's all for the show... I'm not sure how we stack up since we don't compete.
But again it's more for the fun (and sort of the sports, though I'm not a huge fan)
We march close to 300.

...the West and Midwest always seemed more serious to me?

We have black pants and black shoes, so it is a bit difficult to see us out of step.

We are a division 3 band with about 75 members.

We have one superior, 3 excellents(Don't quote me on that. Could be more or less) and are 8th place overall in our dicvision

...You're sounding really egotistical. It's good to have pride, but it's not like other bands are beneath you or anything.

I was in a Div 3 band biggest we were was 91. IT ain't the size but your quality. BPM in our shows ranged from about maybe around 60 for ballads to our highest at 210. always good times there made drumcorps awesome marching 180 most the show a 120 ballad and a closer at 192 (i believe it was a 190. I'm in the guard not the horn or drumline lol so i just felt it more than fully knew it)

I finished my last marching season in high school as a National Champion.

I don't like to brag, but you kind of asked for it.

A little competition is healthy ^^
I dont see anything wrong with this thread
AAA(in hawaii, thats the smallest division, we only have 4 bands that compete in the AAA category, )
Size: 145
BPM:I honestly dont know the slowest -220
White stripes down our bibbers?(If you watch the video its obvious how bad some people are off step,)
Were not that good, honestly, we always get a "Excellent rating " though.
BUt our philosophy is, good scores are nice, but its what you put in that really mattters, of course some people are idiots and do it for the sake of being in band and being recognized or just for the pe credit/extra credit
which honestly makes me sick , thats the reason why we hardly get superior ratingss. and next year its gonna get worse with the incoming freshmen. (sorry im ranting now , Ill stop)

Wow, your band is huger then mine!(Improper grammar on my sideXD)

You guys aren't that bad. i've heard way worse(my band included) I would show you a video of my band, but nobody posts my band on youtube. Our most recent video is from the beginning of the 2008-09 season. It is before our show was completed, even. But, it will show you our unfiorms and our general skill level(we were a lot bette rthis year) And our real soloist was better. Our trumpet sl had his wisdom teeth pulled before this, so he had his solo taken over by a crappy playerXD And the wonderful wind effects are thanks to the...well...wind. We did have attempted wind effects by the brass, but it was covered up by the widn in thsi vid. And we did our songs out of order(why we scattered for our fight song at the endXD Oh, and starting 6:10 is our fight song.)

I love our uniformsXD

Oh yeah, well we march 240 to 280! Suck it!

Heheh, jk wink

We only do that tempo for jog-on, when we're not even playing, so eh. I think the precision is a lot more important than the tempo, anyway.
