Alright, so as only a couple of you know, I have become throughly hooked on K-pop. (Korean pop just in case you aren't sure) I got the idea to make this thread, for people to share music from various countries, maybe even in different languages. I honestly do not know WHERE I got his idea, but it seemed like a good one at the time.

I'll start things off with a few:
SHINee - Ring Ding Dong (Eng Sub) - K-pop
SNSD - Genie - K-pop
Super Junior - Sorry Sorry
f(x) - La Cha Ta
4Minute - Muzik

And the person you may think is a guy in f(x) is actually a girl =P

I think its a good idea. I request some J-Pop, I like musics from other countries but well I know nothign about it therefore I don't get exposed to any of it and basically only have what I've seen from anime theme songs lol.

Looks like if we keep this going it could be a bit of a hit. I'm searching for some more stuff to post. Anyone who has something not posted yet go ahead and post it, links are always a good thing

Three more for you to listen to, two in Finnish, one in Swedish. smile

Keep on Galloping - Korpiklaani: Chorus is in English, rest is in Finnish.

Metsämies - Korpiklaani: Entirely in Finnish

Trollhammaren - Finntroll: Sung entirely in Swedish, 'cause they believe it sounds more troll-like. razz

I like music that sounds unique to my ears...and different language music tends to help with that, oddly....

I used to really be into J-rock. I'm not as up to date as I used to be, though. I basically just keep up with the favorites I had.

Some J-rock songs with memorably unique videos attached to them by a few of my favorite groups:
Tremolo by Plastic Tree
Hidari no Tare by downy
Maguro by cali≠gari
Zetsubou by MUCC
White Surf Style 5 by Supercar

They're all old songs, though, of course... sweatdrop

It's kind of funny actually. The j-rock/pop/metal metal is slowly being replaced by the K scene. Its interesting to see the change happening

I believe it's Korean, but I could be wrong, but Brunch. Pretty good music. Of course, the only song by them you'll ever be able to find is Imagine, which is featured in the well known THERE SHE IS - STEP FIVE

Huh, my roommate's become obsessed with K-pop lately.... I'll check some of theses videos out later and see if there are any she hasn't seen. I know she has Ring Ding Dong, though >.<

Me? I've been listening to K-pop with her, and then listening to German music on my computer. I'm already in two language classes, I can't add German in no matter how much I would love to! gonk
Anywho, here's some Oomph! Sandmann and Brennende Liebe

YES!!! I was just WAITING for someone to pull out Oomph!

You however forget:

Augen Auf - Oomph!
And:
Labyrinth - Oomph!

My 2 all time favorites. Labyrinth is just so creepy

Honestly, I was expecting more along the lines of the following when I saw this thread:
(No particular ordering)
Something Arabic
Something Bulgarian
Something African (Disregard the title, it's supposed to be a joke, the music is, of course, awesome (and funny razz ))
Something from the Balkan region
Something Tibetan
Something Japanese
Something from, erm, Byzantinium?
(Well not really but it's the style that counts, right?)
Something German
(It's about outlaws, scoundrels, rogues, you know, the works. Free people.)

Etc.
I might post more, but for now I just wanted to give a little bit of direction about some things, I also tried to list unusual stuff razz
So yeah. Am I cool yet?
