A man sees someone he feels he recognizes but can't put a name to. He waves at the man and see him waving back. He walks over to greet him and both men die when they meet.
What happened here?

The man was in such a hurry he ran towards the other guy, forgetting he was on the 50th floor and smashes through a plate glass window? gonk (he was seeing his reflection????)
