Just like how Islam has the rule on Music...I get a lot of serious discussions about the books i read. I have been reading Death Note...Most of you have heard about it, and my parents really hate seeing me read it, watch it, draw it... you get the idea and when you know the plot of the manga...
Secondly i wanna talk about the whole vampire idea, and romances...i used to get told not to read them, but that is impossible. Everything is a romance....At least mostly everything....I understand why my parents wouldn't want me to read them when i was little...but even those 1990s Disney Movies were romance....blah...like LION KING. And those vampires...i admit...I WAS twilight obsessed. WAS...I found it to be pathetic...no offense after a while of reading though some of the fanfics are good. Not my fault Meyer can't write well...don't kill me for saying that. Well the whole concept of falling in love with a vampire being so cliche is kinda aggravating...
and lastly those angst...I can't help reading those, they always have the best plots and characters. Like the Joker Orgins...i love learning about Joker...

So back to the main topic questions...I wanna be a writer i got all these stories written about stuff like these...okay not Death Note. I can't write that...i am no genius. So my mom basically makes a list of things i can't write. it means every one of those topics no crazy high school genius who kills people and is the supreme leader romances, vampires, fairies, wizards(you get the idea), angst..... SO what can muslims write? I can't write about anything like this and publish it...so what the heck? I opened up a fanfiction account...and got fanfics on it, but is it really wrong to read these things. I can understand reading/writing about somethings, but what is wrong with this.

they don't really mind it...but they just don't like it when i get all these fairytales and fantasies in my head. Apparently it isn't good for me. Like in some Islamic Schools, no more Disney Movies for them.
I swear i was going to write a letter to them about that. I believe all children should be allowed to dream and Disney lets that happen. I am talking about the old Disney. Disney Renaissance, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty....you get it....

I can read manga but Death Note, well the plot, just aggravates my parents. Just look it up, wait here it is-Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects--and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. Decide for yourself if that is something that you want your kids to read. Well i actually read it this September, and my friends, some of my Muslim friends want me to read this...It has an addicting storyline.

I don't like letting books influence my way of thinking...It happened once. I got suicidal because of it. Sometime around March, and believe me it was really scary thinking those things. I guess that is why my angst reading has come to an end sort of.

As for what i write...i don't like smut, reading it,writing it...i have more than enough honor to know that is one thing not to write.
