Why is it that a lot of people have ridiculous beef with yaoi fans. I don't understand it. I understand disliking raving fangirls but just people who just heart it get insulted...

I think it might be even worse when you are a fangirl I mean with us gay guys it make sense to most people but when girls like it..it confuses people I don't understand why though I mean straight guys like watching girls make out right?

Because the typical fan looks like this, can't talk about anything except how kawaii desu desu~ their favorite fictional character is and usually gets angry and makes threads like this after comments such as "I don't like it, I think it's stupid."

I get wanting to be proud about liking it but Christ. At least rabid Twilight fangirls look normal enough you can't spot them from across the parking lot.

It's just idiocy.
If anyone I don't know gives me crap about liking yaoi, I usually ignore them or tell them to shut up about it.

If fangirls get annoying, I tell them to shut up.
Plain and simple.

So true. I hate it when fangirls squeal all the time and randomly use Japanese words in their sentences. Like those SasuNaru fangirls "Naruto is so kawaii in his uke position. Sasuke is being such a teme seme," wtf is that?
