i got this information from bigsiteofamazingfacts.com :
-In the United States and many other countries, a person would never wear white clothes to a funeral. Black is our color of mourning. But in Japan, black clothes would be out of place at a funeral, the Japanese color of mourning is white!
-Many Americans and Europeans think that black cats are unlucky. But black cats are considered lucky in Japan. There's a Japanese saying that black cats "keep the devil away."
i also have more info on neko black cats: maneki neko that black on the cat mines good health
Jentern Ok um. Nothing on google about black being lucky in Japan. However, I did find this. I don't know how helpful it is though: -In Japan, red and white are considered lucky.... -The color black is believed to contain all kinds of things and to have the power of protection Its for dolls, however.. http://cp.c-ij.com/en/contents/2022/03265/index.html

I love my black cat before I knew it was considered good luck. Aren't I lucky?
