Well, it's official. Nintendo's second Zelda game for the DS officially launched as of December 7th. I haven't had a chance to take a crack at it personally, but I have to say I'm psyched. Anyway, this thread is to let everyone squee their little fanboy/girl hearts out over the fresh meat in a Zelda famine.

Posting, AWAY!

I saw the commercial last night while watching Whose Line is it Anyway. It reminded me of the Twilight Zone.

Almost beat the game...well the story at least.

There ARE a lot of sidequests.

Spirit Tracks is VERY GOOD. It's like...my 2nd favourite Zelda game now (:

That is VERY encouraging. Without any spoilers, how does it rank next to Phantom Hourglass?

just played the multiplayer game with my friend, and its a lot different than phantom hourglass's multiplayer.

...you cant control phantoms, and they run faster than you. either way its pretty fun

Whatever problems that PH had, (unless you didn't like the controls in PH) Spirit Tracks fixed them. Oh, and it's a LOT better than the PH because the story seems fresh and not dull, the colours (yes, I'm Canadian) are fuller, the music is spectacular compared to PH, and Nintendo fixed their biggest mistake that they made in PH, that is, the highly irritating Temple of the Ocean King. Oh, and I forgot to mention that their are a lot of side quests, though they do get repetitive after a while. And riding on a train, though more fun than the steam boat in my opinion, can get annoying after a while. But other than that, Spirit Tracks is an amazing game.

8.0/10 for Phantom Hourglass
9.2/10 for Spirit Tracks

(Lol, I just made a mini review blaugh )

Edit: The bosses are quite fun as well. And some of the puzzles are challenging later on.

WONDERFUL!

That made my day on so many levels. So, no Temple of the Ocean King madness? And story wise, is it longer than PH?

Well, there is a main dungeon you have to keep coming back to...but it always changes 'cause you can skip levels you previously beaten. And it's a different experience each time you come back.

And story wise, it is definitely longer than PH, and more interesting too.

LOL, I was just fighting the final boss when it froze 'cause I grabbed a heart when I was recovering with the purple potion (acts like a fairy).

First glitch I encountered xD
