I've spent the past few months desensitizing my roommate to horror movies and slasher flicks, both new and old. [Previously she was too chicken to even consider watching them with me].
I would list all of the movies I've had her see, but not only are there too many, I'm not sure I could remember every last title.
Basically, I'm looking for some of your favorite horror movies to add to the list. B movies are acceptable (by my terms) but please make sure there is at least decent acting in them. She seems to prize that and as such didn't find my B movies with bad acting but great story ideas very good.
Thanks!

The Evil Dead trilogy = One of the greatest horror series of all time. The original should sensitize her pretty well. Nothing like a literal blood bath, demonic possessions, and trees raping girls to violate a virgin mind.
I first saw the original when I was 8, and I haven't been right since.

Pretty sure this should've been posted in the multimedia section.
Also pretty sure that you mean "desensitize".
Anywho:
1. Dead Alive [a staple in this genre] 2. Sleepaway Camp 3. Phantasm 4. Return of the Living Dead 5. The Host [not necessarily a horror movie, but a monster movie and damn good] 6. Ginger Snaps
I'm only listing six since it's a perfect number.

Tree rape = Win
Also, I just remembered a couple of movies I haven't seen since I was like 14, the Guinea Pig series; if you're into gore, that is. Specifically, the movies Flower of Flesh and Blood and Mermaid In A Manhole.
