Story:
(This story is a continuation from an earlier story started by Mizuki Hyuuga and Mario Dragon in 2008.)
Have you ever wondered why there aren’t any real goblins, wizards, witches, trolls, dragons, unicorns, demons, vampires, gargoyles, etc.? We commonly only associate these beings with the medieval times of knights. What happened to them that they should disappear all of the sudden? They seemed to have disappeared as mysteriously as the dinosaurs.
Here is the real reason they are gone. During the medieval times, these “evil and mystical” beings were shunned by humans and banished to another realm called Antera. The portal to Earth was sealed by a group called the “Guardians of Fey”. These guardians feared that the non-humans would take over the world so they went to Antera to seal the portal. To ensure the safety of Earth, they sent their children to Earth and other realms to live. If the seal of the portal was breeched, the children of the guardians would be recalled back to Antera to reseal the portal. To reseal the portal, the guardians would have to collect special elemental stones called “sparks.” These stones give each guardian special enhanced powers but when combined, creates a special power that can control the portal locks.
CHAPTER 1: The Demon King Tarik has found a way to put a tear in the portal and seeks to open it and return to Earth. Three guardians have returned so far to Antera to find their stones. King Tarik helped them to get their stones by they were not sure why. Other guardians come to get their stones too. The new guardians lose their battle with Tarik to get all of their stones and King Tarik gains enough power to open the portal to Earth.
CHAPTER 2: Tarik seeks to change history by going back in time to medieval Earth to find the original spark stones before the original guardians find them and form the guardian order. Will the new guardians be able to stop him from changing history? Tarik is thwarted and cannot get a stone. He is thwarted by Skurai's actions that causes the guardians and demons to be banished to Antera 250 years earlier than the original timeline in history.
CHAPTER 3: Tarik now has to start over and try again to get back to Earth and get a stone so that he can stop the portal being sealed. The story continues . . . See recap below for what is happening right now.

Demon Lore:
The Fey (local Antera residents) were very powerful and ruled the lands of Antera. They had many mages, sorcerers and wizards. Other "evil" being were given their own lands in this other realm except for the demons. The guardians feared the demons the most so they made them slaves to the Fey or banished them to the shadows. The demons had to live like animals and only lived in the shadows of mountains and forests. The Fey would hunt demons and slay them for sport.
The demons went to war with the Fey. They were at war for many years until they finally overthrew the Fey and took over the land. Tarik's mother took over the kingdom and seduced a Fey guardian into being her husband. So Tarik is half guardian and half demon. But his mother was like a black widow spider and as dangerous as a cobra. She wiped out all of the old Fey guardians, including his father, except for one. Tarik saw the one guardian and as a boy and on the orders of his mother slayed him. The Fey seek to regain the kingdom and drive the demons back into the shadows.

Slayers are bound by there beloved slayer queen but since their queen died most slayers lost their will and mind and made a pact with the demon king. Most slayers now follow the Demons due to this pact and they took in all the demons memories. Slayer hates the guardians.

There are still gaps in his memories that he hopes he can eventually fill.

When the queen found out that Omega was having other relations with an angel, and got her pregnant, out of jealousy she stripped him of his rank and cast him out to live among the lesser demons. Omega, as furious as he was, tried to rebel against the queen and overtake the thrown with his own demon army. Losing the battle, Omega was sentenced to live amongst the humans, and to raise his b*****d son in the human world. Skurai, son of Omega, now an adult, does not know what he wants to do with his life. He is torn between helping the Guardians of the Fey, or reclaiming his fathers title, which is rightfully his.

However, in war, the job goes to the king.
Appearance: Her body is slim, a bit above average. Her hair is dark brown and has soft curls at the ends. Along her arms is various scars that she got once her hometown discovered she was worshiping the gods. Her clothing is usually casual, yet at times she can be formal.

Gender: Female
Bio: Ryuu's mother had died at birth, and her father had raised her. He was too cruel, and had scared her for life making her the demon she is. Her uncle didn't help either, as it made her blood-thirsty. However both of them taught her how to kill perfectly, making her a great predator for her prey. Bad thing is, her uncle had sold her as a slave once she cut his eye. A demon came and bought her saying he was a servant of Moredred. She has been working for Moredred ever since and is one of his greatest assassins.
Appearance: Her body is regular, not too big or small. Her red hair is straight, her bags reaching her chin and covering on of her eyes as the back is spiky. Her clothes are usually dark, yet revels her arms or legs, perhaps both. Scars can be seen around her legs, most of them are burns. Her long tail is small in width, and at the end is a small arrow like shape.

*** What happened in Chapter 1***
Guardians Sasori was the first to get her stone. She was led by the clues gathered by Tarik the Demon King to her stone. Onyx found his stone after deciding to go on his own to find the stone that is calling him. He follows the call to an underwater cavern where he receives his stone. Sasori, Elaise, and Leaf battle monsters with Rio, Tarik and Wrath. The Bfoorian Queen sends an army of undead zombies across the border and attacks them. An epic battle ensues. Onyx gets his stone and goes back to help the others. Sasori is kidnapped to a fort across the Bfoorian border and is rescued.
Tarik has an idea and returns to the cavern where Onyx found is stone and finds a clue to where the next stone is. He thinks it is on the sacred mountain of Yor. Leaf in the mean time figures out that she needs to put the two pieces of unicorn that she and Sasori found and it makes a special sword.
They leave for the Fields of Wasabi, halfway stop on the way to the base of Mount Yor. They are about the leave and another guardian appears, Asai (light). The party takes off to the fields of Torg at the base of Mount Yor. When they get to Yor, the Onyx has a premonition that the next stone is near a temple midway up the hill. They set off to go up to find it. On the way up, the guardians are attacked by monsters. Wrath tells the guardians that they cannot go home, they need to stay to prevent Tarik from opening the rift to Earth and taking over Earth. The guardians are dismayed that they cannot go home and do not know if they should trust Wrath since he's a demon.
Tarik catches up with the guardians and they are attacked by some crawling creatures that multiply if cut. Tarik tells Leaf and Sasori to go ahead and help Leaf find her stone while he and the other guardians fight the crawling creatures. Leaf and Sasori go ahead of the group and Leaf follows her instincts to go to the stone that is calling to her. In the mean time, a new character joins the group, Slayer. Leaf obtains her stone.
Slayer is out to get the guardians because of what the old guardians did to the Queen of the Slayers. He sets out to try and kill them. King Tarik tells him he can only kill them if he retrieves their stones first and gives them to him.
Eiji, the new wind guardian joins the group and follows them to the encampment. While at the encampment, Sasori has a dream telling her that the next stone is in a volcanic mountain. She slips out of the encampment with the other guardians and they travel to the mountain to find the next stone. On their way, they meet Eben, a new character that says he is suppose to help them with their quest.
The guardians go up to the crater of a mountain and climb down into the crater itself, following Elaise to her stone. On the way, King Tarik finds Leaf alone at the rim of the crater as the others go ahead. He kills Leaf and makes it look like she was killed by the poison Slayer had hurt her with. He takes her stone. In the mean time, two fey girls (Kira and Acos) appear in the crater and find the other guardians. Elaise follows her instincts to her stone and retrieves it.
King Tarik calls the dark world to the crater to watch the final battle with the guardians and to watch the opening of the portal back to Earth. He goes to the crater floor to taunt Eiji with the last missing stone that he had received from the Death Demon when killing Max, a former guardian. Eiji must now try to get his stone from the king. Eiji gets his stone finally and there is a battle where Tarik ends up sucking the power of the guardians and using it against them to open the portal. END OF CHAPTER 1.
*** Recap of Chapter 2 ***
After the portal to Earth is opened, Tarik changes the portal using a quantum leap and goes back in time to medieval Earth. The guardians follow Tarik through the portal back in time. Leaf comes back to the group as a ghost to help the others fight Tarik.
Tarik has gone back in time to stop the old original guardians from finding the spark stones in the first place and sealing away the demons from Earth. He wants to change the past. He knows from old scriptures that there is a group called the Kompass der Stein had compasses from the ancients that they used to find the spark stones.
Tarik goes to look for the original spark stones on Earth and the guardians pursue him to England and then to Loch Ness.
Skurai, son of the Commander and Chief of the Demon Army when Tarik's mother was Queen, believes that Tarik took the throne from him and tries to make a deal with the guardians.
In the mean time, Slayer explains how it is that he hates the guardians. While he was away, a guardian invades his castle and fatally injures his wife but Slayer changes history by saving his wife and killing the wind guardian.
Skurai makes a deal with the guardians that if they get a special sword that Roarke has, he would give them a compass. Eiji remembers that Skurai is his half brother. The guardians give the sword to Skurai and get a compass.
Skurai takes Eiji into the past and shows him his real past. Eiji was part demon and part angel. His demon side was purged from him and replaced by fey guardian. Eiji is heir to the throne of the City of Angels and Skurai is trying to get Eiji to embrace his old life and take back the throne.
Slayer sets the earth afire with a special sword that can only be stopped by sacrificing a stone. Sasori sacrifices her stone to put out the fire.
Tarik continues to look for an stone and finds the cave where a wind stone is in Kiev but Leaf tries to thwart him. Sasori gets the stone and runs away. Eiji leaves the City of Angels to rejoin his guardian friends with a renewed purpose. He convinces Sasori to give him the wind stone from the past but she warns there may be complications to giving him the stone but gives it to him anyway so that he can regain his guardian powers since his other stone was used by Skurai to bring the City of Angels to life.
Tarik goes to Egypt to get a compass. While in Egypt, Slayer gets married and picks a fight with Tarik. The guardians catch up with them in Egypt and find that Tarik has just set sail for Mexico. Slayer sends his army to stop the guardians. The guardians get away and follow Tarik. They are caught up in a storm in the Bermuda Triangle which forces them into a time vortex and throws them into the year 1212. Slayer and his family are also swept up in the vortex storm and end up in 1212 too.
Tarik follows the compass he has to a Mayan village. The guardians follow. The Mayan King distracts Tarik while his daughter Princess Ixchel escapes with the stone. Ixchel is assisted by the Healer Serena and escapes. The Princess Ixchel is on the way to Asia to find the guardian the stone she has belongs to, "the greatest warrior in the orient." We find out that this person is Willow.
Tarik's grandfather, Moredred current King of the Demons, sends Ryuu, an assassin to assist Tarik catch the Mayan princess. Tarik's boat catches up with the Mayan princess' boat and he takes the stone to his grandfather's winter palace in China.
The guardians follow Tarik to China. It is the Chinese New Year and he enjoys the festivities until he can get rid of the stone by offering it to the Jade Dragon. The guardians and friends drug Tarik to take the stone but Ryuu saves Tarik and they go to take the stone to the Jade Dragon. The Jade Dragon takes the stone in exchange for Ryuu and Tarik taking care of the dragon's baby Tatsuko. Willow kills the Jade Dragon and takes her stone. Eiji steals back Leaf's stone from Tarik.
Tarik retreats to the summer palace. While at the summer palace, Slayer is consumed by a souless being (that Onyx sicked on Slayer) that takes him over and drives him mad.
Eiji takes the guardians to Skurai's kingdom of Eva. Skurai tries to win over the guardians but is only minimally successful. The guardians get restless and continue on to find Tarik. Elaise has visions of where Tarik is heading next. On the way they travel with Onyx-Amiric through his land of Tel'aran'rhoid.
Ryuu tells Tarik about a priest in India called Adjo who has the gift of finding things. Tarik decides that they will go to find this priest to see if he can help Tarik find a stone. They find the priest and he says that the key to what Tarik wants is in Aku's necklace.
Slayer purges the Souless from his body with a love song and appears to be dead. James takes over the slayer kingdom and a civil war breaks out. The guardians decide to help Skurai to take over Slayer's land so that they can give the land back to the Egyptian people since Slayer changed history and was not suppose to have their land anymore. They head to Egypt to fight James. Wrath goes to help Skurai by giving him an item to help control the sands.
The guardians, Skurai and Skurai/sultan's troops fight James. The guardians corner James in his castle. They battle him and the demons he conjures up. Aku kills James and the guardians/Skurai kill the minor demons off and win the war. The Sultan of Egypt takes over Egypt.
Aku takes James' body back to the fortress to use in a ritual to revive Slayer from death. Slayer is revived and takes Jame's body but Aku puts a spell so that he appears as Slayer to everyone.
Skurai and the guardians fly in Skurai's airship in search of Tarik. Tarik, Ryuu, Wrath, and the Slayers go in search of the clues from Aku's necklace. They are attacked by a hydra and Wrath opens a portal where they are all transported to the rainforest of Brazil except for Wrath. Wrath battles the Hydra. Everyone else is in the jungle. They meet Salen, a reaper who warns them to stay away from Wrath until he kills the hydra. Salen shows Tarik, Aku and Ryuu some ancient writing showing that Wrath was once a demon king and had a wife that looked like Aku. Salen gives them a gift that shows what the writing on Aku's necklace says. The three and go to Egypt.
Tarik, Ryuu, and Aku go to Aku's home town where they retrieve a 'devil stone.' Something mysteriously crashes into a mountain in Egypt. Skurai and the Guardians go to Egypt. Skurai seems to want to go on a suicide mission to kill the hydra even though Wrath has warned against it. Skurai kills the hydra anyway but in doing so, angers the demon gods. The demons and other evil beings are sentenced to Antera for causing too much trouble on Earth because of Skurai. They are all transported to Antera and now Tarik is back at square one. *** Current Story Recap - Chapter 3 - What has happened so far . . . ***
Tarik and the guardians are back in Antera in the Earth year 1212 because of Skurai's actions causing them all to be banished to Antera along with the demons and other enchanted (evil) beings. Now Tarik is back at square one.
This time in Antera's history is dangerous for all enchanted beings but especially for demons, who are hunted by the original inhabitants of Antera, the Fey. The Fey enslave and kill demons for sport to prevent these invaders from taking over their lands.
Tarik and Ryuu were captured and were to be sold as slaves but were saved by Salen. Salen wanted to take them to an angel but Tarik did not trust him and refused. Tarik's party plans to go to across the mountains to the no-man's land called Realm of the Dead to search for a time vortex.
The guardians find a woman called Midera that is the one who wrote the Fey novels in the future that lead to the Fey Trilogy. They are told by her that they should seek her in the future to find out what happens in the missing third book of the trilogy. Other guardians just arrive in Antera. Skurai has a bounty on his head in Antera and related lands for causing the enchanted beings to be banished to Antera.
The guardians catch up to Tarik's group in a temple but Tarik escapes into the mountains with Aku and Ryuu. As they head to the border, Tarik helps a couple of slaves brothers, Arcon and Ekron, to escape they ask Aku to be their owner and join their party.
In the mean time, the guardians were occupied being attacked at the temple and fell behind. Arimic vanquished the demon and revealed that he was part demon.
Amiric/Onyx, Roarke, and Sasori are together after leaving the house of the fortune teller. They are following Tarik. Tarik, Ryuu, and Aku are together with the brothers and are in a border town to the neighboring country to Antera, Booforia. Eiji happened to end up in the same town and Amiric's party just found him.
Tarik and party plan to cross into Booforia and go to a no mans land next to Booforia called the Realm of the Dead. They are led by a vision by Aku that someone she knows in here vision has a way to find a time vortex that can take them out of the past and back into the future. They stopped in the town to pick up weapons to fight the Booforian Queen so that they can get across to the road to the Realm of the Dead.
Tarik, Aku and Ryuu are captured by the Booforian Queen and her elder self that had gone back in time to capture Tarik. The trio escape after Amiric distracts one of the queens, allowing the brothers to free the trio and they all escape. Tarik's group now go to the Realm of the Dead to find the vortex that Aku has visions of.
Elaise is blinded in a battle with the undead and Eiji rejoins the guardians with Elaise and Willow. They all decide to follow Tarik and try and find Skurai. ((The story continues on page 215. . .))

Slayer The Wise Slayer looked at his wife and smiled "history will change my love , history will change " Slayer walked to the door and peered into the queens chamber " what happen to to the guardian ? , he looked around the room and chuckled " the guardian body is still here but is it still alive ? " Slayer walked to the guardian body and sighed " you could of prevented all the guardian , by leaving my queen alone slayer focused his energy on his master " master the guardian that attack my wife is dead , i now have its stone "
Slayer picked up the guardian stone and smiled " my master will be happy with my victory over a guardian Slayer also realized that what he did will help both him and the demon king
Mario Dragon Tarik is surprised that it has been so easy to get a stone. Now that Slayer had it, their mission was over. They just had to destroy it and the would be done. "Slayer, can you bring the stone to Loch Ness? I will have the serpent destroy it and we will have won!"

He took his wife's hand and walk though the palace . Catching up on old times and getting to know each other again
Mario Dragon Tarik agrees to Slayer's request. "You have long suffered and have a chance to renew. I agree to your terms. Come to the lake with your wife and I will free you when I have the stone."
Slayer The Wise Slayer Heard his master Answer he responded " Why not before i get the stone ? don't u trust me master ? " Slayer focused his energy again " Master i will be on my way to loch ness " Slayer takes his wife hand and they walk out of the palace into the streets He says " come with me to loch ness My dear , i have an important business arraignment " They walk to the Stables and grab to horses " Come lets ride off to loch ness and complete this business deal " They ride off
SkuraiX As Skurai rides his horse he sees another couple riding in his direction. He can smell the scent of Tarik on him. "This man works for Tarik. I will make his tell me where Tarik is." Skurai rides ahead and stops in front of Slayer and yells, "HAULT! Servant of Tarik! Get off your horse...we need to have a chat."
SkuraiX "I am destined to command every demon army in existence. Do you know what power it takes to keep that title...what makes you think you could even scratch me? Take me to your master, then the three of us can talk, and figure out a way for everyone to get what they want. If you do, I will put you and your women in a place where you can live forever. A place no one can bother you and you can love each other for all eternity. A whole entire realm...just for you."
Slayer The Wise Slayer smiled " If only that was true , but i like ruling a kingdom "
Slayer put away his sword and got on his horse " my lady hop on my horse and let the kind sir over their use yours
She did what she was told and kissed Slayer for good luck Slayer turned around to the man " hop on to her horse and follow me "he focused all his energy on his master " Master this guy claims he is the demon commander . his name is Skurai " They began to ride off towards loch ness
SkuraiX "I am not one of his servants...my family serves his because we choose to. Not because we have to. My name is Skurai...I am rightfully commander and chief of all demon armies. Now it may be worthless to him...now I may have nothing to offer him. If that stone is destroyed, I will not have that which is rightfully mine. And I wont let that happen. Assist me...or die."
SkuraiX "You can take me to Tarik. Also I cant let you destroy the stone...not yet. Not until Tarik gives me what I want. I'm so close to having what I want I can feel it. I know these things you and your master do...Budsturga knows all."
Slayer The Wise Slayer sighed and focused on his master " He says he is the rightful commander of every demon in the world . He threaten to kill me if i don't take him to you "Slayer looked behind him to his wife and smiled at her " I wont allow him to ruin my chance of freedom master He Continue to ride off to loch ness He looked at the demon commander and smiled " So why is this compass so important to you and tarik ?.It wont be any use once i give the stone to our master "
Mario Dragon Tarik is confused, how is Skurai here? Skurai was the son of the commander when Tarik's mother was queen. He had disgraced himself and was replaced with Wrath before Tarik became king. "What does he want? How does he think that he is now commander?"
misty_seabrz Sasori waits for Roarke to show them the way to the sword. "what if he gives the compass to Tarik? We are doomed."
OmegaRyu_Tsuki Ayame Roarke chuckled. "Fortunately if we go to Loch Ness, it is on the way, lass," he said dryly to Sasori. Why he chose the lake that was supposedly cursed by his people, he was unsure. He didn't realize his eyes for just a second had turned a brilliant sea green instead of the deep midnight blue they usually were.
-InsertEgoHere- Liger Eiji chuckles under his breath at the turn of events. After Skurai touched him. He was being to remember things about his past and where he was from as well as what he was and how he can to control the wind. He sighed in relief as the thoughts of his and Skurai's angelic mother. He then shakes his head when he realizes that now is not the time for reminiscing. "Well we had best get moving then. Sir Roarke, if would be so kind as to lead the way. We must get a move on to find this sword and stop both Tarik and by greed-blinded brother."
OmegaRyu_Tsuki Ayame "If what I noticed is right, lads, then they are going the long way around, and there's a shorter way known only to locals," Roarke said quietly, tilting his head to one side. Onyx chuckled. "Then let's get moving," he said quietly, his tone intense and calm at the same time.
misty_seabrz Tarik is part guardian so he is partially immune from spells that effect demons. That is how he could get the stones that we are seeking to protect. If he were a regular demon or other species the stones would be useless. Only guardians can use the power of the stones.
