im embarassed to ask this question because im sure everyone and i mean EVERYONE probly knows what it is except for me.. what the hell is a bump????????? and why is there a job out there to be a bumper? how does that and all of it work?

Bump is just a word everyone uses. Its used to get that topic up to top of the page, mostly in Main forums. There are bumper jobs because people pay others to bump there topics so people see them and visit.

BUMP is said to stand for Bring Up My Post. People tend to want threads bumped that get them something, so people might be paid to bump charity threads or aquarium threads so that the thread owner's post is always in view.

Other times, people will bump for no other reason that it earns gold...and they were probably bored or speechless.
