so i would love to play gaia games on my computer but it will not let me... i have a mac... the message that it gives me is something about server connection timed out

I think it's not a especially problem of your computer alone, I think the Gaia-Servers are just acting strange. I was in zOMG a view minutes ago(an online game-don't know if you heard about it yet) and the server was really lame. I would wait a few hours, I bet it will solve itself 3nodding

Server time-out errors are usually blips in the Gaia servers, not your computer. Usually if it is your computer, you'd get some kind of coding error or notice that the program can not run.

As said above, give it a bit to see if it corrects its self.
