Hey there fellow nerdies! I really, REALLY hate to admit it, but I don't know my trumpet scales. I have been playing for a long time. I started either in 4th or 5th grade. Now I'm in 8th, it's pretty pathetic that I don't know them. I know three, my B flat, E flat and my A flat. It really disappoints me because I have wonderful tone, and am tied for first best in the school. We have a quiz coming up on the Chromatic scale. Does anyone have a technique on remembering this? If so, please help!

Chromatic scale- go C up to C, then back down to C going up and down in half-steps.
I play trombone so i never had to worry about learning scales (since every higher note is a higher up position) I don't know how to help you.

hyuuga hinata_393 toco clarinet the chromatic scale is pretty much the easiest O.o..what do you need help with? Do u play every instrument known to man?! O.o i like to get around razz i focus on clarinet and the saxophones, the only COMMON sax i haven't played is tenor. i dabble in everything i can get my hands on
