Which generation you buy will not matter aside from price. This is basically how they work;
Gen 1 is released.
Gen 2 is released > Gen 1 gets new poses.
Gen 3 is released > Gen 2 gets next set of poses > Gen 1 gets new poses.
And so on and so forth. At the end;
Gen 3 gets next poses > Gen 2 gets next poses > Gen 1 finishes
Gen 3 gets next poses > Gen 2 finishes > Gen 1 does nothing further
Gen 3 finishes > Gen 2 does nothing further > Gen 1 does nothing further
And so on, so all gens will eventually have all poses- it just takes a little bit longer ;3
So, buy whichever gen you like- the earlier generations tend to be a bit more coveted, but if you want it only for the poses, the later generations are an economical alternative for what will ultimately be the exact same thing.
