In case anyone hasent heard about this special election, its amazing.
The GOP nominated a liberal
The Dems Nominated a centrist
so the Conservative paty of NY is running their own person
and so far this little known conserative party candidate Hoffman went from last to second in the polls and might win the seat in congress.

I live in Onondaga County, in New York's 25th District, but the 23rd district is just north of me, across the county line in Oswego County.
Unfortunately, the Conservative Party candidate, Doug Hoffman, is still in 3rd place according to the latest polls. He also lives outside the district and apparently isn't as up on local issues as he should be. I'm rooting for him, but it's gonna be an uphill battle.
