I'm with the user above! I prefer to read BL in novel format/fan fiction format, but I do get my kicks from manga and anime too. Actually, I don't really like the really hardcore yaoi animes or most shounen-ai animes anyway, since things like kissing and *cough*otherthings*cough* are portrayed so awkwardly with animation. It loses its sexy when I watch it in anime form because it's mostly unrealistic. When it's drawn/written then I see it better, and have more of a connection with it.

Manga, but that's only because I find it difficult to actually sit down and watch an anime. Manga I can download and read on my own schedule. It's just more convenient.
I also like (fan)fiction for the same reason. I can read it while I'm doing something like listening to music or grinding in a game, and it makes it more interesting.
And something about animation just irks me. Actually, what Drakie Cakie said above me is true. lol

I prefer printed media smile Usually, animation looks awkward and the original art style is never the same when they animate it. I really enjoy fanworks as well, doujinshi, fanart, fanfiction etc. - Oscar Wilde.

Hmm.. I think i might prefer the mangas better.
Anime's are harder to find and most of the shows never finish.

It really depends on what I'm in the mood for. Usually, yaoi animes aren't that great when it comes to quality and they censor a bunch out, which I think is just stupid.
I guess I prefer yaoi manga more often though.

I prefer manga most for the internet. I can't just sit down and watch the anime. I read some fanfiction but not a lot. I also prefer to buy/borrow actual books on homosexuality irl. So those are usually the three things I do to get my dose of yaoi.

I prefer doujinshis, manga, or fanfiction. razz i dont know why really, maybe because i read more than i do anything else. I can't sit and watch anime BL, because it gets boring. Yeah....^^ And with reading, there are things you can skip over, if you dont feel like dealing with it(like excess annoying people getting in the way of the main people) hehehe...yeah
