85.64

Better than the country average.
But I don't get why they didn't offer tips for how to reduce your carbon imprint after you take the quiz. sad

Not to mention I'm like the only "green" person in my home. My dad, mom and little sister eren't very earth concious. My mom claims only newspapers and magazines can be recycled in our recycling plant, not notebook papers and junk mail.

My philosophy is, even if they don't recycle it NOW, if it keeps coming in they will start to recycle it, seeing as to how much is being wasted.
And who knows, they might actually recycle it. 3nodding

My score was 132.13, which is a little deceiving. I don't shop at my "local" farmers market as often as I should and my house is over 2000 square feet. The food at the "local" farmers market isn't necessarily locally grown ( a lot of it is shipped from California and way more expensive than it would be at a supermarket). And my house is 2,125 square feet, but it is over 100 years old, in the inner city, paid off and I have lived here for almost 19 years, so the 28.8 I scored in that category while below the country's average is a little high. I really shouldn't get this worked up over a quiz smile

I got 160.99, which is a little disappointing. But I guess that's mostly because I'm an athlete and I need to eat a LOT of food.

i'm not sure if i've got this right, considering the previous scores.

http://www.myfootprint.org/en/your_results/?id=701537

i think it was 39.55. but, i live in an apartment, and may have better access to local product. my landscaping is taken care of, and it's xeroscaped.
eh, i probably screwed it up. i'm sure it's much higher.

666.666. It's mainly due to my torture chamber.

I need to source more of my produce from farmers markets, and be alittle more observant when buying at supermarkets, as I scored the same as my country's average in the food catergory.

crying I came up with 149.9 (3.86 Earths), but it couldn't calculate mine accurately. I live in an RV, so all of my appliances, light fixtures, etc just work differently than what it uses for its calculations. It was asking questions like, "do you turn your themostat down in the winter?" and I couldn't help but laugh a little since I live in a warm climate and don't ever turn on my heater. Then it asked about garbage disposals and dish washers and washing machines and I don't have those in my home. It's a good start, though. *Runs off to try to calculate it more accurately*
