My cousin needs some help for her class project. I need postcards sent to the address and the states I don't need are Washington, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. California too, duh.
Okay, please tell me if you're interested in sending a postcard and I'll PM you with the address. :3
Also:
Discuss postcards and other things about the mailing system.
I'll sticka big ol' R for Received by your name if/when we have your postcards. biggrin States that are done and/or state pledges:
California Florida (Pledge) - Sorcha Georgia (Pledge) - Brooke Massachusetts Nebraska (Pledge) - Novatierrie Nevada (Pledge) - Chexley North Carolina Washington

I would, but alas I am Canadian.
GTR and I do snail mail. It's kind of nice getting letters in the mail, I forgot how nice getting letters can be. Although it takes me a week to type about 4 pages out to him granted they use the whole page and are 9 point font, it's still a while. Also GTR doesn't want me doing them by hand because I have messy handwriting.
I never really understood the point of a post card though.

Woohoo! Help from the Nova. :3 Sending you info naozorz.
Post cards are just a way of sending a photo of where you are/have been. They're sorta like a greeting card.
Short and sweet.

I collect post cards from all over...I have some really old ones from around the world. I have one with people in nooses...they aren't alive of course...kind of the oddball in my collection.
I suppose I could drive to NH (it's not that far) and send one from there if it helps.

Possibly bookstores, usually touristy-type shops. Edit: Maybe even the grocery store.

Some post offices even have them. Gift shops are usually your best bet, otherwise you could make one. I'd be willing to mail one from Minnesota. Does she need one from each of the fifty states?

Jaft Creepy. ._. Jay kay. NH being New Hampshire? Sounds cool, but that sorta sounds troublesome. O.o Yes, NH being New Hampshire. It's maybe an hour's drive to the border from my house, and that's nothing to me. I live for long drives. I'll abduct my friends for a little "adventure driving" and we'll go over the border...booze isn't taxed there so if I NEEDED an excuse I'd be all set.

I have been collecting postcards since I was in Brownies, waaaaaaay back in the day (like 20 years ago, back in the 20th century.) I have at least one form most of the provinces in Canada, some form the Netherlands, and a few from other foreign places. I haven't been collecting quite as avidly in recent years, but I got my collection from my mom (she was cleaning out her basement) and I think it would be cool to start maintaining it again.
If your cousin is interested, I could send a Canadian postcard.
I don't know about south of the border, but pretty much every roadside gas station I've ever been to (along a major highway) has had a selection of postcards. Bookstores, gift shops, department stores, and grocery stores tend to have them, also.

I have no postcard collections. We usually just send them back to the states to our relatives whenever we went overseas. :3
