The rain is only just starting up around where I live. But we don't get a lot of flooding in the Willamette Valley. Just a looooooooooot of rain... I suspect now that it's started we won't be seeing any more sunny days for months.
Do they close schools when there's a tsunami?

It has been raining the past week just about for us, down in the 40's.
I dunno how the rest of MO is doing but it's flooding just a bit here.
Our bad weather with the rain is supposed to last up until Saturday night.
Apparently we've had record-breaking rainfall, dunno how, maybe for this time of year.
As for the actual tsunami and the victims... all that going on. I hope things clear up soon, I can't begin to imagine.

I live GA, but we did have quite a bit of flooding the other week....
It took me 4 hours to get home from work whereas it usually takes me 45 minutes. All the roads were closed off.

I'll paint you mornings of gold, I'll spin you Valentine evenings...It... never rains here in NV, especially here in Las Vegas. We usually experience at least 3" of rain annually and we've only got 1 1/2". I was hoping that my city would receive a little bit of rain from that bit of left over typhoon CA got smacked with, but no~ Though we're strangers till now, We're choosing a path between the stars.

It's been snowing here for a week after a really dry couple of months, but today is the first day it's snowed enough to stay on the pavement and the grass -- there's probably close to two inches. When it gets warm tomorrow, I expect there will be some minor flooding in our city, but nothing too dangerous or harmful.

PA is just getting cold. We're getting all the cold air from Canada. It sucks. But it hasn't rained here for about 3 days. One of my Uncles is in Texas and the other in Florida. Hope their ok....
As for all those in the path of the Tsunami, I can only hope you're all ok.

Well, I live on the coast.... Of Washington... Really bad rain isn't particularly new to us. sweatdrop It's been pouring today... Almost ruined one of my drawings when I was transferring it inside from the car.
On the plus side, instead of golfing, I got to go bowling in PE today. ninja

It rained, snowed, froze, warmed up to a balmy 20 degrees (celsius) and then it got foggy and cold again. -Formerly La Belle Isolde-
