I prefer to only get maybe one per guild per week. And it should have both content like new contests or events, and LINKS to the proper threads! Nothing annoys me more than an announcement saying "Check out our _____" and then I go look for the thing only to find that it's not been posted up yet, or is in some subforum or is improperly labeled. Such a pain hunting for threads!
