What colour would Strawberries be if they weren't red?

personally i would think they would be blue.

Hm, strawberries are a very passionate fruit. Striking up lust and infatuation.

Of course none of that helps me figure out what color they'd be if they weren't red. X3

I guess with how sweet they are, a good color would be purple. Purple is a lively color that causes a somewhat energetic feel.

If it were to be a blue, then I'd say more of teal blue than any other kind.

purple definitely, or pink. because to me strawberries just taste red, and anything else seems too unnatural.

at first i thought blue as well.

but then i read the teal part and i think that suits them.

I think they would be transparent, and you'd only be able to see them as they reflected each full moon of the month, the strawberry harvesting night, for nobody can look straight at a strawberry during the day for they would reflect the sun and blind you with a beautiful light temporarily for some time should you try, and it would also ruin the tradition of strawberry harvesting night.

I would prefer a food to change color every few seconds, that way I would see a rainbow before I feast.
