Hey, this is your fearless leader dictator, Complete_Spazz, here to tell you about composting!
Over 29 million tons of food a year is wasted, and sent to our landfills. There is an easy solution to this problem, and we all can contribute. The answer, is composting. Composting not only gets rid of all that uneaten food, but can also help stop the burning of leaves, and sticks. Almost anything organic can be composted. Plus, it makes great plant food!
Here's how you start: either make, or find, plywood squares. (There is an example below) They should be about 4x4 or 3x3.(there should be about 5-7) You will then want to lay one flat on the ground, and lay a brick in each corner. You can then lay another square on top of it, and so on and so on. Make sure there are gaps in between the boards so the compost can breath. Then add all your compostables. My family likes to use leaves, food, left over plants from our garden, etc, etc. In the end, your compost should look something like this.

Your compost bin should be flipped once a month, putting the non decomposed material on bottom. And rich compost on the the top.
The compost can be used in many ways. You can use it while planting plants, you can use it to enrich your planting beds, and you can even make "Compost tea"!
When I mentioned compost tea, I probably got a few strange looks, which is why I took the liberty to add it to my post.

Compost tea is water, which has been sifted threw compost to make it a rich plant nutrient, that won't burn your plants up. (For those of you who don't know, if you use too much compost, it will cause a nitrogen burn.)
This is good for all plants, and really helps them out. Here's how you make it:
1: Fill a small bucket up with compost. The bucket must have holes for water to escape.

2: Hold the bucket with the compost over an empty bucket, and add water. Personally, I use a garden hose. (You may have to use your hand to clean any blockage)

3. Once the bucket is full, Just pour on any plants that are in need of help.

4.There will be two kinds of leftovers. Leftover (A) you can add back to your compost. Leftover (B) you can put around your plants. (A) Is what's left over from making the compost tea. (B) is the run off compost that you find in the bottom of the compost tea.

Hope this helps! Me and my little brother [See step two's picture] spent most of the day taking these pictures, so I hope you enjoy!
