I've been studying the beginner's lessons made by Sakuu. But I'm still a little confused!
Well, not so much confused as needing practice. Can anyone offer me a good list of vocabulary type words that I could study or try to work into sentences and such?
Simple things like a pen or a pencil. Or even common sayings such as hello, how are you.
I'd really appreciate it a lot! Even some sites would help.

Here is a website that has a lot of basic vocab: http://japanese.about.com/library/blvocaburary.htm
http://smart.fm/ is a great place to learn the most common vocabulary along with example sentences. It is kind of like a flashcard game. You can learn all the Hiragana and Katakana on this site plus the Kanji of each word. 3nodding
And here is a thread right here on gaia that has a buttload of vocabulary and stuff on it: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/gaia-international/japanese-class/t.53806083/
Just remember to go to page 3!!!
I hope that helps you a little. Good luck! wink
