My memory really...sucks, I think. It is very hard for me to remember a lot of things. The only way I can seem to remember some things are if I write them down....like in a journal or something. But those journals seem to get misplaced after a while. And it just sucks! Over half of the time I don't know what people are talking about when it's some thing that happened to me or if I was somewhere when some thing else happened. It just really really sucks. Anybody else have a problem like this or somewhat like this? D;

~{}~Well, I don't have too bad of a memory. But, in a slightly similar case, I can't stand a few things that most guys of my age can tolerate. They would be: Illiteracy, dirty rooms, unorganized books[ABC order], baggy clothes, and rapid Spanish speaking. >.< ~{}~

I have the exact opposite problem. I never really forget anything.

for me it depends on what the memory is about or who it involves, ex: a memory of meeting someone for the first time i most likely won't remember unless something very unusual happens. but sometimes i do remember and some days i don't even remember my own name.

I can remember some stuff, but I can never really figure out just when it occurred. My life is so ridgidly unscheduled that the days bleed into each other, and I don't know whether that trip to Ottawa happened last month or last year.

I remember a lot of facts. Especially if they interest me.
Now if I'm trying to remember if I hate today, that's more difficult... In fact, I'm trying to remember if I've had anything to eat today...
Did I? O_o ....
Crap, I don't think I have. D= It's already 5 PM.
I've gotten really good with names, though. And I'm really good at remembering numbers.
But really? I forgot to eat again.... Fiddlesticks.

I have a pretty good memory, I'm also good at remembering the gist of what my anatomy and physiology teacher was lecturing over a 2 hour period before a break and I was dozing off the whole time, that's just tactics I've gained from highschool though, and I have to look over my notes and such to refresh my head a bit and remember what he was saying.
One thing I'm really bad with is remembering names, I can meet someone briefly and I'll remember them and their face, everything I chatted with this person about I'd remember, even little details, but often I'd not remember their name -- depending on the circumstances, if it was a really amazing girl of course I'd probably remember her name, but even in some cases I didn't hear it right or only heard it once and it didn't register sweatdrop
Sometimes I just don't even get their name... and as I get to know them I have to watch and listen for their name so they don't find out I didn't know their name xd
