Hi I'm Colorguard from the East Ramapo Marching Band. This year we had to fight for our budget and sorts of things to continue competing. Last season band and winterguard we loaned out over 40 colorguard uniforms and only got half of those back. Thus it was decided instead of our new uniforms we get every year we got stuck with old ones from years ago with holes in them. I mean they do look cute on us but they are not personalized sized so you have a lot of sewing and resizing to do.

Personally i'm happy we didn't have to pay for new uniforms. Some bands have to pay everything like flags and stuff. That sucks. All I have to pay for is meals and new shoes.

We get costumed designed and made uniforms each season.
Our designer is our rifle instructor and she goes to a company to get them tailored. We have to pay about $150 per uniform excluding shoes and gloves and any hair accessory.

Im from the Lakota West Marching Band 05-09. I graduated this year. may 09.
