Ok so this question's beenclouding my mind. The question is: What's the real reason Dean brought Sam with him to hunt the supernatural? I mean Dean said the reason was that he couldn't find John on his own but at the same time he didn't want Sam to get hurt because of hunting the supernatural. Is it because he misses the way it used to be...?It's so confusing. Dean doesnt want Sam to get hurt BECAUSE of the family job, BECAUSE of their dad, so why take him along? The words: 'Because I can't do this alone' also confuses me. It's not that litteral but couldn't he take someone ELSE along? Like Bobby??????????

I think there's two reasons. One, yeah its their dad, he should know when hes missing or if something happens to him. But on the other hand, I also believe Dean missed Sam, and with their dad missing, family became all the more important to him.
