It's not the best I could do, but tell me what you guys think! I'll be entering a cosplay contest at Dragon*Con this year, in less that two weeks I'll be in Georgia, but these are the pictures I've gotten so far.

Well don't expect it to be exactly right since I am not actually a male, I didn't feel like cutting my hair too short. Also my hair is very thin so you can understand it was quite a pain to make it look even remotely like L's. Thanks for your constructive criticism.

This is lovely. If you can affors it though I would recommend a wig. This would help because as someone pointed out, the hair isn't a perfect match. Depending on where you get them they can be pretty expensive, but if you shop around you can probably find a relatively inexpensive one and it would help a lot. I love how in-character you look though! 4laugh

You look pretty.
But, yeah I can tell it took some time to do the hair since it's so thin. More eyeliner would be good, when I did mine I tried to stay up for a week...... I fell asleep on the 4th day. It was pretty hard to see if I did any good or not since no one on that street knew what anime was. I went to Wal-Mart though, people complimented it. I hugged them.
Oh, look I'm ranting now. It's really good if I do say so myself, but yeah you could use a wig if you can afford one. I have naturally think hair, so...

I'll protect my world, and my home. I don't want anyone to worry about me. You're right I'm running away. I'll become stronger. Try making the hair bigger. And the rings have to go.

Try using volumizing foam, it won't weigh your hair down and you can get that fluffy look. 3nodding Good luck! P.S. It would be a good idea to get rid of the rings, since L doesn't wear any ^_^

1. I'd reccomend not wearing the rings 2. You might want to use some sort of volumizing(I swear, I can't spell today) shampoo/foam, or something.. 3. If you can, buy a wig. 4. Try something different with the eyeliner. Attempt to make it look more natural. What I used to do when I cosplayed L was I would take different colours of eyeshadow. It looked a lot more natural than eyeliner. 5. If you can't get a wig, at least try spiking your hair, or something..if it's short enough. Also, it'd be a good idea to attempt to get rid of eyebrows(not literally shaving them off or antyhing. But, if your bangs don't cover them, attempt to cover them with make-up), and perhaps use something to make your skin look a little paler.
