Do any of you like any of them?
I remember The Sims. Man, when I got that it was so awesome... But then! The Sims 2 came out! That was even better! But then... The Sims 3 came out... Almost 2 months after I bought The Sims 2, Sims 3 comes out. Ohwell, I really like The Sims 2. I don't want to spend anymore money on The Sims 3 after I bought a bunch of expansion packs for Sims 2!
Is The Sims 3 any better than The Sims 2? I mean, it looks a little nicer, but my cousin tells me it's harder. I really didn't understand that at all. What do you think?

Heh that's what everybody says about the 3rd one, after all the money spent on the expansions for the previous games. I loved playing the original Sims but I never really afforded the expansion packs since I didn't have a job back then, and when the Sims 2 came out I never actually got to get it and thus never bought the expansion packs mrgreen So I bought Sims 3 and was like, yeah!
Hm it's a little confusing to control at first but it's not long till you get the hang of it. I never played the 2nd one as you know, but it isn't all that hard to me. I believe they removed a couple of the needs you have to maintain for the Sims so it's a little easier on that note to enjoy the other things to explore. I also find it far more difficult for your Sims to die unless you really really work hard to kill them. mrgreen It definitely seems greater, compared to Sims 2 with full expansion packs and maybe texture mods from other users to make the game look great, it prolly would seem like a downer without any of that stuff. But I'm sure once people come up with custom mods for it and more expansions come out it'll be way awesome.

I remember when I first played the original Sims.
It was all downhill from there for me.
I had all but Makin' Magic for The Sims Expansions.
Then I got The Sims 2.
And I slid further down.
XD
But I love building homes for my virtual peeps.
I'm just not too great at giving them living advice. sweatdrop  .... wouldn't you want to help her?

I always enjoyed killing them if I thought they weren't good enough.
.__.;;;
I know, that's kind of bad.
But hell, I think it's funny when they die! And plus, in The Sims 2, if I kill off a whole family... The Grim Reaper uses the toilet sometimes.

I have a Scientists that challenges people to chess duels. If they lose, I put them into a room made out of glass with loud music and no toilet or anything.
I even put a window and a small hallway for him to watch.
Awesome game.

Yeah razz Problem is, I found out they don't die. Kept a hostage for like 4 days and he survived. But I'll tell you there was A LOT OF PEE. Luckily, thats for the next person who goes in there and I put the food for them on it.

I remember the Sims too. I had the Sims 2 but I let my friend "borrow" it and she lost it. D=
My mom had gotten me the third one for my Birthday.

Haha, everyone kills off their sims. XD
I even kill off neighbors.
I make a little nook out of fencing, with all areas covered in cheap chairs
(except for 2 blocks). Turn Moveobjects On. Then, move the neighbor
into the fenced-in area, make one of the sims start to make something in the
oven, and then quickly move it into the fenced-in area. They can't reach
the oven, so the chairs catch fire and they burn to death. cool
I killed mostly ugly sims. Ugly sims and jerks.
OMG OMG. One of my sims got pregnant with a neighbor.
So, Before she gave birth, I decided they should be married.
SO, the day of the wedding, they get together, she proposes,
and then they invite a few friends/family over. I get them under
the trellis, and then... AND THEN HE LEAVES HER AT THE ALTAR!
So, I brought him back over to the house like two hours later,
JUST TO WATCH HIM BURN! twisted twisted
I put his gravestone with the rest in the backyard. wink
And I put flowers on there (like all the rest),
but I let his rot.

Then I got the resurect-o-tron.
I had fun killing him again.
And again.
And again.
biggrin
My sims were never left at the altar again.

Heh the sims like to fight fire as well, I had to force a sim to get trapped behind the fire, ordering them to go back in the corner for like 5 or maybe even 10 minutes before finally getting trapped and burning.
I think it's funny talking to Death and then he shows up as one of your aquaintences, I think I almost became friends with Death (funny because he just took one of the family members) and then he just poofs off randomly in the middle of a conversation! Rude I tell ya.

Melodie, I'm willing to bet that I'm more sadistic.
I downloaded the multiple-wives mod, married
off children (even before the mod), every sim
had like five lovers and twelve wives (that they
didn't sleep with, so the wives had like 5 lovers
each) while married (STFU, I have commitment
issues! gonk ), I trapped and killed neighbors
and other sims...
I even created my own S&M Dungeon
using downloads.

Oh, the fun I had with that.
Lol.
