There are sayings that from time to time the spirit of deceased relatives comes to check on their family and they always stay close.
Some say it is our qareen that comes but some say that the qareen is the demon that tries to stray us in our daily lives, some also say a qareen is a copy image of us but can have a different personality and even religion but they live with us and hence they have all our memories. sweatdrop But there is a saying of the prophet (SAW) that if the Vail was lifted off our eyes we would see the spirits of dead people in rings having conversations in cemeteries, that is why when you pass a cemetery you have to say a salaam, because they do hear (it is asalam alaykoom antoom al sabiqoon wa nahnoo al lahiqoon) it means that you are the ones that have gone forth and we are the ones that will follow
And about the jinn there are different types of jinn, like there are humans but they do live parallel lives, and some are Muslims and some are nice and some are evil and there are demons as well.
Jinn can not harm humans directly, but if you have a weak heart or if you step into their boundaries they can posses you or harm you, that is way before entering abandoned places your supposed to say bismillah and when you enter the toilet your supposed to say a doaa for entertaining the toilet to protect yourself from the demons that can posses a person in his weak state.
And your not supposed to throw things randomly especially at night because you might hit a jinn by accident.
And demons and Jinn usually harm/possess a person with a weak heart if you really believe they would and could harm you then they really do
confused I seen quite allot of jinn when I was younger, and even as older but usually small children see them when they are yet unable to speak or barely a few words and animals see them.
I had my cats stare in the air and run scared at random times (of course with me running straight behind them just as scared if not more
gonk ) My cats are my jinn dedication devices XD (if your cat stops and stares in the air RUN FOR IT!!

my mom said when I was a toddler I would always say dada (which meant friend XD) and she said one time I came crying to her saying dada tah (which means my friend hit me) and I am an only child and no other kids in the house and she actually saw a toddler run and hide from her in between the bricks
eek she chased him down (and since then I never said dada again)
In our house and especially our area is famous for lots of jinn sightings since it was so far from the city and a bit isolated and near the desert (now there are still but less frequent since it got so populated and construction and stuff)
The most common thing which we got used to is hearing our name, like I would be in my room and my mom in the kitchen and I would hear her scream over for me to come and when I rush over she says she didn't call me and visa versa she would come running in my room and ask what is wrong?? when I didn't even say a word we pretty much got used to this now (even thought it is highly annoying) but it rarely happens.
When my family just moved in the house, the doorknobs would turn on their own and they would hear knocking on the door and when they open no one was there (oh and this happens in mid afternoon not middle of the night!)
And sometimes we would see a family member walk in front of us and go into one of the rooms and when we go there they are not there and then after sometime we discover they were never even at home
eek (that is by far the creepiest that ever happened and it is even more creepy after you discover what happened then when it is actually happening)
Oh and we had people who come over see the same thing happen and think we were teasing them in a silly game of hide and seek
sweatdrop I had a kitten vanish into the sand in front of my eyes! It was like she fell through an invisible hole and that was in the middle of our garden! and I was an inch away and I started digging like a manic but I never found a trace or saw her again
crying We seen footprints in the garden that stop right in the middle and there are no trees close by for a person to climb or anything to jump over to!
I woke up once to see both my parents frozen still staring at me with cloths I never seen on them before and they had huge weird smiles and when I talked to them they would not move or talk back or even blink! they just kept smiling and I got pissed went back to sleep and after some time I woke up and found them in the kitchen and when I got mad at them for teasing me like that they swore they were in the kitchen the whole time and they were wearing different clothes!
gonk My grandmother once saw kids walking in our living room (a boy and a girl) and when she asked them what they were doing here they said they lived here and when she said where? they pointed at one of the walls and apologized to her and walked into the wall in front of her eyes
Errr....I better stop I don't like remembering things that happened because I end up getting scared all over again XDDD
I probably scared all of you too O_O haha sorry
So now....
WHO WANTS TO HAVE A SLEEP OVER AT MY HOUSE????
xd blaugh PS: I recite sorat Al-Ikhlas and sorat Al-Falaq and sorat Al-Nas 3 times before I go to sleep, it protects you from any harm and it helps me sleep peaceful at night => and even if I am scared of feel something I recite them and it goes away
