I have balloons at work. I used to have a yellow one with a smiley face on it that I had sitting on my monitor, until it died (I suspect foul play). So now I have a pink one.

Or had a pink one. I come in today after having 2 days off work and it's GONE D:
I screamed and went rushing around the office, looking for where someone may have hidden it.

I asked my boss if he's stolen it, he says he knows nothing about it, since he just flew back last night like I did.
THEN I got this email:

So now I've made a "Bring back Lici's balloon" foundation, and made a little sign and donation box to sit on my desk.
Paul laughed so hard when he saw it, he just about cried.



Wednesday
I said I'd keep you guys updated about my balloon kidnapping.
This is the next email I go, with an image of it ):

UPDATE: (Still Wednesday)

I went to the tattoo place where the email said to, and while I was there I got a text saying to walk to the hairdresser.
When I got to the hairdresser I got a text saying to wave to all the traffic and do a star jump xDDDD
So I did, and only the truck drivers waved back D:
Then I got a text saying to ask the tattoo man for my balloon, and as I was talking back there, I got another text saying they'd email me with the next step xD

And I don't recognise the number they're being sent from! D:
I'm an idiot to go along with this, but it's kinda fun xD

OKAY MORE UPDATE: (Still Thursday)

So I got that previous email this morning. I just got this one, with this image attached, 15 minutes before I was due to wait outside the office.



So I went and waited, and one of our supervisor's cars drove past, with a pink and yellow balloon attached to the antenna D:
It wasn't my balloon though, it was the wrong shade of pink >_>

Then I went back to my office, and got this:



Then one of the supervisors, Mark, came in with the two fake balloons and gave them to me, with "Ha! You wish!" drawn on them D<


ANOTHER UPDATE: (Friday)

Now they're sending me on a hunt D:

Okay, so now it's Monday...
6 days from my first email. They said that I wouldn't see it for a week, so here's to hoping I get it back tomorrow D:

I just checked the microwave here, and there were two deflated balloons in there. I pulled them out and felt what seemed like chocolates inside them xD
So I had to blow them up and pop them to get them out D:
But hey, I got chocolate xD
I hope they don't pop Pinky >_>


So it's now Wednesday...

I still haven't got Pinky back D:
I came back to work today (after having classes yesterday) to find this picture set as my wallpaper on my PC:

Thursday:

Friday:
I just got this email:



Paul is obviously my boss, and Anthony is up there with Paul, as he's our construction manager.
I don't quite know why this email would say to hug them both.
I think it might have something to do with the nightclub we've been working on, 'cause Paul and Anthony have both been super stressed about getting it finished on time so it can open tonight.
I have a feeling I'll be getting it back at the opening of the club, tonight. It's got to be some grand finale to the adventures of the past two weeks almost.

I will update tomorrow if my suspicions are right or not!

Friday night:

I finally got Pinky back xD It was waiting at our dinner table at the restaurant my boss took us to.
IT WAS MY COUSIN BEHIND IT ALL ALONG! D< But she had help. Pretty much the whole office was in on it. The texts were from my boss, the emails were from her.

I'm using my detective skills and either
1) It's a creeper that really likes you and wants to.... "hug".
2) Since it was your (happy belated) birthday, it may be a late... but surprise party.
3) Someone is really maniacal.
4) Your balloon ran away and it didn't want to tell you so it thought up this whole scheme where it was kidnapped and whatnot.

Those are my theories. I'm leaning more towards number 4.
