ok! heres the dealyo. our new theme for next year is circus olay(SP?) and i was wondering if anyone has done this one?? did you like the music? what exctly did your uniform/outfits look like? what all guard things might go well with it? for ex: hats(used them two years ago) riffles, flags, etc. etc. i just wanted to know so i know what im getting into. cause from what i heard is that either the drum majors or the guard are gonna be clowns and im afraid of clown truth be told sweatdrop

Wow...circus, huh? I don't really know if I've even seen a circus theamed show before. We've done The Giving Tree...but not the circus. I hope you don't have to dress up as clowns, especially if your afraid of them. (our theme this year was Phobia and the horn solo was 'send in the clowns')

Wow! That to me sounds like a fun show. I've never seen a field show like that but I have seen a winter guard show with "Send in the clowns" it was a wonderful show! They had great backdrops and confetti (sp?) One of the guard members road on a unicycle. It was great!

Do you mean Cirque du Soliel? If you do, yes, I've done it. It was my marching band field show this year.

It was my marching band field show this year. no no thats not it the names are similar but thats not it. i think they may be changing it to something like the seven deadly sins or something like that....or light into darkness either one sounds fine

You mean Cirque de Sol? (Its pronounced circus olay) I've never done a show to it, but I've seen one. let me put it this way: its the best winterguard show Ive ever seen.

Cirque du Soliel, Yes I have done that. I love their music. It doesnt sound like clown muisc, it is much better. It is calm and relaxing but amazing. Try going abd renting one of their DVD's or download a few of their songs. To get ideas for costumes we each pick a person in Cirque du Soliel and we were to find a costume like that person.
