The Castle of Neteru

Nearly destroyed during the dark ages, The Castle of Neteru was not merely a fortress for Royalty but also held the portal to the land of the shadow creatures that plagued the world of old. Cursed by the angry dragon Ra, the palace was almost consumed from the inside by the belly of the beast, but a clever wizard tricked the dragon with its one weakness…gold and lots of it* Legend has it that the dragon was so in awe by the gift the wizard brought, that it never moved from that very spot, for unknown to the beast the wizard had enchanted the ground on which the gold was placed imprisoning Ra for all of eternity. Now a statue stands at the entrance of the castle of Neteru daring all to step forward and face the darkness within.
A few centuries later Chief Sankofa bought the old ruined castle and started renovating it, getting it back to its former glory, unknowingly reawakening the curse of Ra. But the ancient had other plans; she quickly used her talents to lock away the shadow creatures back into the realm where they could harm no one who neared. Seeing that as only a temporary fix she closed down the castle gates, never to open them again…….

……That is of course until now, "greeting to all you bad boys and girls of the night the name’s Chief Sankofa. But never mind with calling me by all of that, just stick with Chief, Mega or Boss as in the head b***h in charge and I do take my job seriously so understand that and I'll let you live. Now the first thing you need to know about the castle is that it’s alive and I do mean that literally alive so I’d be careful where I leave my stuff if I were you. Also the statues and other various building items have been know to get up and move around so try not to get lost. This place includes unlimited rooms such as bathrooms, dining rooms, multi purpose rooms and a master kitchen which are all available to any and everyone so name your pleasure and have cook serve you up. (Keep in mind it is your job to make cook talk and serve you.) We also have some local residents here, like our live-in ghost (they came with the place so what you going to do*shrug*). There are also gardens, pools, and lakes that surround the castle grounds. We do provide an open bar 24/7 which is ran by some of my employees the pixies(it is your responsibility to make them talk and serve you). They have short tempers and even shorter tolerance for people looking to start trouble in their bar, so I would keep that in mind for all you drunken brawlers. From time to time special events are held on the castle grounds so if you have a special announcement or any ideas in mind do give a shout, I’m always looking for new made up holidays to dress up for. Now for all of you who are interested in renting a room here do keep in mind I’m the only permanent resident and all others can be removed*, anyone interested in a job here also same goes for you. While I encourage all to fill out a resume and join my crew please remember you are replaceable. Well now, that wasn’t so bad, was it? And you still have all of your flesh attached so you must have been very good and listened to my instructions carefully. If you need me, call and I’ll try to drag myself away from my work, but do keep in mind that this is a very big castle with many responsibilities that need my attention as well. I do enjoy chatting with random guests and I do make it my business to drop in on people whenever I feel the need, but I will always respect my guests’ privacy at all times. Though I never said I wouldn’t look*smirk*. Oh and one more thing,there are a few restricted areas that you should know about don't go into the ball room, never the attic , leave the dungeon to the trolls and stay out of the Black Forest, it’s no place for those who wish to live…………."

On the outskirts of New Orleans, there stands a lone bar, with flickering neon light spelling out Half Moon. Folks have taken to say its cursed, bought on land that was paved in the blood of those lost during the plague over half a century ago. Some calm its a portal for the dead, or that the devil himself owns the joint. But don't you go listening to any of that silly talk. No, Half Moon is something more, something that most people can't seem to understand or just plain don't want to. Whether you believe the the towns people or the league, one this is true beyond fact. Once you enter though that aged threshold, there's no getten' out.

Half Moon is a portal to the other realm, once you step inside, you are lost to your old world and thrown into a new one. Stepping outside you may see and hear people busy around, but to them your simply not there. The "others" may see you and talk to you, but once in Half Moon, they too loss their ability to return back to their original plain of existence.
Chief - A hot-blooded woman with the attitude to match. She's the owner of Castle Neteru, where most of the RP takes place. She's a very attractive sorceress with magic abilities as sharp as her tongue. Most of the time she hates being disturbed yet she doesn't leave a single guest unattended to. What she wants, goes, and what she hates, dies. Often seen as the strict mistress of the mansion, she's actually very caring towards her friends and her guests. Seductive and mysterious, no one knows her true nature, or how she came to exist.
Hetukiri - An angel who inherited some of Chief's spunk and second-in-command in Castle Neteru. First appeared as the cheery girl who loves entertaining the guests, she can actually be as strict and as solid as Chief. Despite this, she's very kind and will do anything for the sake of the mansion's safety.
Goddess - A courageous centaur and Castle Neteru's head of security. She's Chief's right hand when it comes to issues involving unwanted outsiders. Tough on the outside, gentle on the inside. She's very sweet especially to those close to her heart. A fierce and beautiful woman who is willing to sacrifice her own at any time. She is currently in her human form and soul-bound to Nick, whom she saved early on the story.
Nick - The only pure human with a demon lurking within. Appeared as Castle Neteru's first bad guy, he grew fond of its people as the story progressed. He possesses the spirit of Ra, the Dragon King and the Demonic Gate Keeper, which gave him most of his powers. When he was half-dead, he was saved by Goddess by binding her soul with his, thus making them grow towards each other. He's an ordinary 18 year old with a bad history, a horrible childhood, and a dangerous grudge.
Dark - A master of the Shadow Realm and Castle Neteru's resident demon hunter. He's a smooth guy who always attend to whoever is in need. Once Nick's master, he is known for his uncanny skills in combat. He's very fond of the ladies, especially towards Chief.
June - A shy and timid girl who is quite mysterious in her own way. Similar to Nick's case, she too is possessed by a demon called Dark June, a succubus. She's most of the time found arguing with the demon over what to do. A good girl with a big heart, she does all she can to prevent her alter ego from having her way.
Kyra aka Dark June - A seductive demon with an ego to die for. She possesses June who is pretty much the direct opposite of her. She loves to party, socialize and even flirt around which causes both of them to argue all the time.
Ra - Over fifteen thousand years ago, the powerful dragon Ra once ruled over the Lands of Ages. Consumed with hatred, he cursed the Castle Neteru by unleashing the Shadow Creatures to devour everything within it, but with the help of a clever wizard, he was sealed into a portal, along with his creatures of darkness. And that is where he awaits, as his spirit lurks in the body of Nick, aboding his time to be set free.
Lunar - The wolf girl who's actions speak louder than her words. After 10 years of searching for her mother and father, she arrived at the Black Forest located near Castle Neteru. Tired and lonely, she stayed in the depths until she found her way to the mansion. Often quiet and sometimes clumsy, she's a very thoughtful girl with a heart of gold.
Aya - A pure-blooded vampire who's fangs are as sharp as her charisma. At first she hid her presence from most of the residence of Castle Neteru for she didn't want them to know about her vampiric self. She eventually grew to trust them and revealed a strong-minded woman who commands a fierce army to be reckoned with. She has a loyal servant named Wei who she is quite fond of.
