my favorite thing about WGI is seeing other guards! My winteguard is up in the boonies, where the sport is barely surviving. it's just amazing to go down to the states and see so many other awesome groups. World guards especially! I also love the shopping, but finding awesome shirts that fit me is annoying >.>;;
I'm not going to WGI this year ;_; We're doing the northwest pagentry circuit in washington. That'll be fun too, but WGI is.. well, WGI.

I love just being able to go. But now sadly I have graduated. BUT! A group of friends and I are trying to make an independant guard. So I may once again be on the competition floor!

IA: I don't remeber their name, but they had the show about Cathedrals this year, and it had the whle WWII thing goign on. With the little girl. The ending came and it was like BOOM! insta-tears!
SO: All time favorite show-I think it was Mesa Ridge last year, they did Unchained Melody and it was such a pretty version and they did so well, that, again, I cried. My whole guard was like, "What's wrong?!?" and then just rolled their eyes when I told them. Favorite show this year-Hmm.....the water one! With the curved rifles. They were awsome. Chino(sp?) was pretty good too. Except, I think m school has done the best Bolero I've ever seen, and they pissed me off when they did it a year or so ago, because it was a crappy version...
IO: I don't really pay attention to this class for some reason....
SW: Hmm....The on;y one I really remember is the one about horse ridding....
IW: I'll just put my favorite guards here. Signiture and Oracle (gotta stick with the home teams.) The Light Brigade, the one that had the kilts and stuff this past season, Northern Lights, Pride, Fantasia, the one with the primsm box painted on the tarp this year, and Amachi.

i've only been to one when it was in las vegas. we competed just for the heck of it and knew we wouldn't get anywhere close to winning. but oh man i loved watching the more advanced guards. the shows these people come up with are awesome. plus it's fun shopping at those events. actually that's where i got my rifle cause i wanted to move up on my team. i wish i could go to another competetion to watch since i've graduated. i loved it.
