i decided due to votes here and in the forum to trade my katana away. so i agreed to trade with a guy (x_WILSON29_x ) to give it to him for 490k. all was well until he changed it to 49k in the middle of the trade!!! wtf!! scream now not only can i not get the mask, but im out my katana and 441k!!

If you have proof, for example, a screen shot of the trade and either a PM or a post somewhere in the forums stating that the two of you agreed on a set price, then you should be able to report him by using the Report a Scamming link. If you cannot provide that proof, than it is your word against his and that might not be good enough to get what you're owed.

If you cannot provide that proof, than it is your word against his and that might not be good enough to get what you're owed. i have a pm and the trade itelf (with the different prices) but i dont know how to get them on the report

When making the report, state that you have a PM and a screen shot of the trade as proof, that way when the mod contacts you, you can share that proof. Definitely make sure to screen shot the trade as extra precaution. The mod should be able to check your past trades as well, but it never hurts to have back up.

By using the Print Screen button and MSPaint, you can save the image of the trade. Now that I think about it, you should screen shot the PM too. The Print Screen button can be found on the top right of the keyboard, above the insert, home, page up, delete, end and page down keys. (This is for a PC... if you have a MAC... I dunno how to do it.)
In MSPaint, go to EDIT and then PASTE. The image of the screen should show up in the window, from there you can choose to save it as it is, or cut it down to a smaller size.
Then save the images to a photobucket account.
As for the gold amount changed in the trade, if it says in the PM that he agreed to the larger amount, then he clearly scammed you.

On a Mac, you can press command (the one with the apple) + Shift + 3 to take a screenshot of the entire screen or command + Shift + 4 to take a screenshot a certain area that you select with your mouse. I hope they catch this guy. >_<
