Letters from Dead Men
I peered around the musty old room.On one side of the cell stood dark, iron bars that held me in and on the other three towered solid concrete walls but they were no ordinary walls. Each held a different mans dream; each wall held a different mans wishes and each wall held a dying mans passion. Through the lead and ink from the scribblings on the wall were fading away and the paint was peeling I could read the messages as clear as day.
Dear Sarah, I'm sorry but i will be a little late making it to our wedding. They said this is where it stated and this is where it will end.I guess God decided i hadn't paid my dues yet.I love you always and i will make it to our wedding. Oh can't wait to see you in that dress, I'm sure you'll look like an angel. Kyle Johnson
Dear Jenny, All i ever wanted was someone to love but how could i? Everyone says im always bitter and my heart was always cold and closed but then one day i found her. We met and i knew she was the one for me.Before I die, this is my last breath of salvation and my last words I love you Jenny, thank you for opening my heart, I guess beneath my rough exterior there really is a soft spot.
Charley Theroux
Dear Rose and Nathan, You were right from the very start I should never have taken revenge because it only left me feeling empty inside, like there was no reason to live. Now my brothers blood is on my hands and my life is on the line. Rose I love you and always will. Watch out for eachother and move no matter what. You will always be on my mind and in my heart. When i die i will go to heaven and wait for you, until you return to me.
Patrick Hudging
Their words brought tears to my eyes and made me fall to my knees. I couldn't believe how much pain was written on these walls. I suddenly came back to reality and heard the pounding of foot steps as they approached my cell. As I walked out of that room , down the longest hall of my life, all i could think about were those men's words of sorrow and how they left this world looking for a new beginning but leaving a piece of themselves as well as their history on the walls.

Sinking Lower
In the shadows I cower My pain is like a building tower To me it only gets bigger Then with that it grows heavier The ground seems to raise All I can do is watch these days I look at my self sink Sometime I try to drown it,I drink My face is scarred with tears But the scorch mark pain sears I've held them back for years The ground raises above my eyes Lost Alone Hated Forgotten Pain Sad Searing Pain Depression Left Alone once more Dead This is my Tower In which I below I cower So where I am I'm never know Because Im blinded this I know I asked for help the turned on me I trusted them The laughed at me But know they see the pain I feel And I only here a single squeal I darkest wind My Light has dimmed Now they all cry Because today was the day I chose to die
A Military Kids Prayer Little Sues' dad left the other day He told her he'd be back to stay So that very night she bowed her head and started to pray
Dear Lord,
I know i'm little but I have a big wish Be with my daddy while he fights that's my birthday wish Stay with the soldiers wherever they go Whether the danger is high or low Give him strength and courage While going through the roughage Place him under your vail and hide him and his troops Protect him from the other groups Dear Father I know im still little but I have a big wish I know the people hes fighting are fiendish But if I can make only one wish it would be Be with all soldiers that are over sea
Amen
She un cupped her little hands crawled into bed looked out her window and said "Thats my birthday wish Lord Amen." She closed her little eyes and grew up some more her dad came home and said,"My little Sue happy 6th birthday too you"
