-Lights a cig, Sits down and crosses legs- Okay honeys, a while ago I was talking to my younger brother about gay lifestyles and such. He brought up the topic of male Pregnancy. What's your point of view on it? Do you support? Would you do it?(boys) Know of anyone that's done it? ETC! Here's the article on Wikipedia:
heart Male Pregnancy(wiki) heart
exclaim Note: Bloody hell, almost forgot to mention that the link to this topic is on a case done on a trangender, FtM who left their ovaries intact...I'm thinking more of the Future of Male pregnancy though ^_^

"Seriousness is the refuge of the shallow."Well, honestly, I don't think I'd go through all that trouble if I were a man. I mean, it seems pretty dangerous since men's bodies aren't, as the article said, meant for carrying and giving birth to children. I'd rather adopt, the entire process seems terribly painful, dangerous and expensive.
I think it's a bit early on for me to decide whether I support it or not, since there's not much info etc. And it hasn't been researched a whole lot, by the looks of it... you never know what effect it could have on the child and the carrying father, both phsyically and mentally, for example. So currently I'm neutral. - Oscar Wilde.

Politeness serves a purpose. Civility and kindness are moral imperatives.
You know how I feel about it already lovely~ <3
A human being is part of a whole, called by us "universe", a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something sperated from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in it's beauty.

It bothers me, honestly. I don't think bodies should be messed with like that.
I wouldn't say I'm against it, but I'm certainly not for it.

They say ‘freak’ when you’re singled out. Whatever. If people want to screw with their bodies to make them reproduce, then I say go for it. And Spock knows I love me some mpreg fan fiction, so it's not like it bothers me or anything. ;]
And on the subject of FTMs, I wouldn't think they'd want to reproduce. If they believe themselves to be male, and males can't carry children, then I couldn't fathom why they would want to keep part of them able to function like a woman. Obviously my logic has proven to be false (the pregnant man and whatnot), but it seems in violation of wanting to be male if they still want to bear children.
The red. Well, it filters through.

in my own opinion:
It's not something I would encourage my male friends to go through. It's like SaffronSugar-san said, men's bodies aren't constructed to bare children. The construct/ bone structure of male hips, lack of womb and placenta, and the lack of a birth canal (ect.), It's something dangerous to attempt.
If a guy feels like getting pregnant and decides to try, then go on ahead. It's their choice, and it doesn't bother me a bit.
That said, It wouldn't be something I would recommend (as I said before), nor support or discourage avidly.

not something i would encourage. Sounds dangerous and unreasonable. But thats the choice of someone who would want to do that, if that type of pregnancy was ever to be a possibiliy(which i highly doubt) But for some reason, mpregs in fanfiction dont bother me, i mean its not real. Therefore i dont need to care.

if a man want the same right to have a baby like a woman go for it but I'd rather adopt as a woman because the process and all is painful and dangerous some times for the female body to handle and a mans body cannot function correctly to support the baby unless he goes transvestite all the way. it scares me a little but if u know anyone who wants to go for it... I'm not for or against it really

Well who am I to tell them what they should do with their bodies. Although there are many kids that need to be adopted.

Honestly, I find it a little bit ridiculous. What's wrong with adoption? Seriously.

I wish that it really would be possible for men to have babies cause it's really hard for gay couples to adopt and most of them really want children and i think that's just unfair.

I mean it's seems kind of dangerous for a man. Birth can be dangerous for women still and they are built for birthing. If a man has a child that would mean a c section and men can't tolerate as much pain as a women. I don't even know if a man's body can carry the baby while not hurting it or himself. You might as while adopt.
