translation help

hi!
i´m sorry if i post this in the wrong forum, but i have a problem. well my big brother has an problem here it is:

This is a certificate of employment from my boss. He wrote this in German.
I tried to translate this but unfortunately my English skills are very limited.
It would be great if someone can look over it and eliminate the biggest mistakes
(text next post)


he is nearly ready with his study and wants to study further in America or England. it woule be great if someone could help him with the translation, i already did my best.

Mister J. Wieczorek was employed at the Department of Statistics at the Technische Universität Dortmund in the time form 1. October till 30. June.
Under my guidance he worked as a student assistant in the “Statistischen Beratungs- und Analysezentrum (SBAZ)” (Statistical advice- and analyzing center).

His advisory- and analyzing-skills were used in the full spectrum of the SBAZ work:

- consulting for interior and external clients of the SBAZ
- design of studies and design of questionnaires
- preparation and managing of datasets
- statistical analyzing and evaluation of data
- report generation of the outcomes
- briefing in the handling of the SPSS-Software


His integration in the whole SBAZ-team was excelent and his self-consistent, reliable work was always satisfactory.
Miser Wieczorek´s behaviour towards the supervisor, the other members of staff and the
clients was always blameless.

We thank Mister Wieczorek for his always outstanding collaboration and
we want good luck for him after the end of his study here to the 30. June

I'm always impressed by people who can speak more than one language.

for me it´s nothing special.
every kid in germany has to learn english from the beginning of school.
later we can choose if we want to learn frensh or latin. some schools also offer spanish or italian.
it sounds funny but if you want to study german here you have to speak at least english and another language,too.
a friend of me speaks german, englisch, old english , frensh and swedish.

I can speak a lot of Latin (I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm fluent in Latin though). 3nodding I also speak a lot of Spanish (the language I chose after taking a year of basic Latin); I always wanted to learn French and Steven always wanted to learn German. I speak enough Spanish to get through an order at the grocery store, but don't ask me to translate anything in print. xd

I learned Latin when in high school because you had to either take 4 years of the same foreign language or one year of Latin and two of a foreign language (same foreign language so you couldn't do French 1 and Spanish 1; had to be French 1 and French 2 or Spanish 1 and Spanish 2 etc.)

that sounds interesting.
i coosed latin because i was prettey worse at english and so i taught that it would be horrible in frensh,too.

something funny: since i´m at gaia i improved my english. i´m 2 grades better now. xd
