I've been absent from Gaia for some months, and much has happened. Chief among these events is that I am now a landed Baroness!
The Palatine Barony of Allyshia (West Kingdom) holds a competition every year to determine the next Baron and Baroness, and this year, my dear friend Drogo the Quiet and I (Aasa Thorvaldsdottir) won the competition!

Thank you, all!
The competition was threefold: combat, art, and science. The combat, which Drogo did, was a round-robin tournament. The art, which I did, was a chronicle of the events of the past year in Allyshia. The science, which Drogo did, was a map of the Knowne World.
If anyone wants to see the chronicle I wrote, I will post a link to it. biggrin

Congratulations on your ascension to baroness and landed status! I'd love to see an image of your registered device, and an explanation of the description (what the words mean), since I'm so very uninitiated in heraldry.

Translation of heraldi-babble (aka blazon):
Argent, semy of musical notes, on a fess azure and otter statant Or.
White background (field) scattered with blue musical notes, and on a blue horizontal stripe, a yellow otter in profile, all feet on the ground.
Vocabulary words:
-argent: white/silver
-azure: blue
-Or: yellow/gold
-semy: scattering
-fess: horizontal stripe
-statant: standing with all four feet on the ground (default facing the viewer's left)
