Who has pets named after fictional characters? question biggrin
My family's last cat was black, and I suggested that he be named Mischeif Managed (Mischeif for short), like from the Marauders' Map in Harry Potter.
Now that I'm on my own, I have a grey kitten named Cinderpelt, like the Thunder Clan medicine cat in Warriors. I refer to her as Cinders for a nickname.
I've also had various fish named after characters.

I have not. BUT! In my defence, that's because I haven't gotten any new pets for myself. My parents named my dog without asking for suggestions. But all my stuffed animals (Yes, I am a teenage stuffed animal horder.) are either named in the style of character names (namely the Warrior series), or after actual characters.

Does it count naming virtual pets like the fish in our Gaia aquarium? Because I've totally named them after characters.
I just don't have any real pets in my house.
Oh, but there are two stray cats in our neighborhood, and I named the gray tabby one Mrs. Norris and the ginger one Lils. hehe. The ginger one has been trying to adopt us, but my mom and I are allergic to cats so we can't let Lils adopt us.
I also call random black dogs that I see around town Padfoot or Sirius... sometimes Snuffles... but yes. Sirius Black is definitely on my mind with the black dogs. ^_^

My sister's family got a Newfoundland dog and named her Nana, after the nursemaid in Peter Pan. I thought it was sweet!

Minerva the Bookwyrm I know a lot of people that want to have a dog named Padfoot. wink That would be awesome! I've never gotten to name my pets; my dog was named when I got him, and my parents named my last dog and cat. However, if stuffed animals count, I've named my teddy bear Emmet (from Twilight biggrin ) I also call my stuffed dog Snuffles. If I get a stuffed dragon, I'm planing on naming him Norbert.
