These are the only two books published by Annette Klause. Blood and Chocolate is about a pack of werewolves, and The Silver Kiss is about two vampire brothers. Blood and Chocolate was made into a cinematic production as well, but I heard that it was nothing like the book, so I didn't see it. Does anyone have any thoughts about these books?

Blood and Chocolate was good. Not one of my favorite books. The movie was very good. On par with the book. I've seen worse adaptations from books to movies.

I realllllllllllllllllllllllll...y enjoyed the Silver Kiss. I need to read it again. *runs off to find a copy* It had an interesting plot. The ending made me sad... but it was also excellent.

Blood and Chocolate was the first book I read with swearing and sexual themes, so it has a special place in my heart wink even though it's not one of my fave books. I liked the heirarchy of the werewolf pack and that they HAD to transform during the full moon, but they could do it at will during the rest of the month.

The Silver Kiss is a good book to read if you're unfamiliar with vampire legends because it's an interesting read that includes all of the general basics of vampirism.

I had wanted to read Blood and Chocolate, but becasue you guys are saying that it's only ok, I don't know if I will.

But I did very much enjoy The Silver Kiss. I recently reread it even. That's really weird.

And on a totally random side note, I recently entered a RP, and the others are COMPLEATLY illiterate. As in, everything is one sentance, no punctuation, no capitallization, random topic shifts, and the works. It's terrible. The only reason I keep on is because I like the story line.

Gemmina, most people like Silver Kiss better than Blood and Chocolate, but I like Blood and Chocolate better. If you liked Silver Kiss there's no reason why you shouldn't read it.

I can't stand illiteracy. 5 of the 6 guilds I'm in demand literacy, including the RP. I would definitely have to quit an RP that didn't write in complete sentences and wasn't structured well.
