Is my old hairstyle gone forever?

When you buy a new hairstyle, does your old one simply disappear or can you access it again somehow? Can you have more than one hairstyle? I was hoping to have various hairstyles to change back and forth from as the mood hit me. Thanks!

Yes. When you change your hair it removes the old and would have to be purchased again or delete your avi to obtain it, but not all hair styles are available through deletion if I am remembering right.

There are wigs you can buy that temporarily replace your current hair style. These range in price dramatically.

Only the starter hairstyles are available when you remake your avatar after deleting it. Many hairstyles are Salon-only, so if you buy different hair or delete your avatar, you'll have to buy them again.
