Kallman kept pacing back and forth within his room. Forest and the others were in the grand hall. Aurora had told Kallman to cool down and when he did they would get prepared to find Kai. Kallman’s ears raised and he heard footsteps. Kallman immediately ran to the grand hall to warn the others.
“Aurora, Forest, Daceria I think the hunters know were here!” Kallman burst in but just Kuriame and Ryan were there.
“Where are the girls?” shouted Kallman.
“Relax, Kallman. Aurora took them to the secret springs behind the grand hall.” Smiled Kuriame pointing to the secret door.
“I wouldn’t recommend going in though. They’ll think you’re a pervert and throw you back out.”
“If I want to go in I will and you will not stop me.” Growled Kallman.
“Wow, chill the girls aren’t going anywhere just be patient.” Smiled Kuriame. Kallman pushed Kuriame out of the way and knocked on the door.
“Yes.” Questioned Aurora from within the room.
“The hunters are here. We need to get to the secret caverns before they kill us.” Shouted Kallman with fury.
Aurora came out in wolf form followed by Daceria and Forest in their human forms.
“Kallman please calm down.” Asked Forest embracing him. Aurora rubbed against Kallman’s legs. Kallman took Forest’s hand and Daceria’s. Russell and Kuriame followed behind along with Ryan. Russell stopped and asked them a question.
“What about Kai?” asked Russell. Aurora growled and they continued through the hallways. Russell stayed behind through and went in the opposite direction. Russell walked to the outside of the mountain and he saw them approaching from afar. He saw Kai at a distance and immediately he ran to tell the others. He ran through the hallways and bumped into Forest. He fell and she helped him back up with a smile of her face.
“Are you okay Russell?” she asked.
“...Yeah but Kai is not okay. He’s leading the hunters straight to us.” Panted Russell. Kallman turned to him.
“Kai he was captured again?” asked Kallman.
“Yeah, but Kedro and Adam have swords to his back, so I don’t think he’s evil. We have to save him from them though because once the hunters see were not here they’ll kill Kai.” Explained Russell.
“How do you know that?” growled Kallman.
“How else, I’m an ex-hunter remember.” Replied Russell finally catching his breath. Aurora returned to human form and embraced Russell.
“Thank you.” She kissed him on the cheek softly. “Kallman now is the time.”
“Right.” Kallman began to transform before them. Kallman would prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that he would save Kai and kill Kedro once and for all.
“Forest once we get Kai back, you make sure he is okay for battle.” Instructed Aurora.
“Okay and if he’s injured, Daceria can heal him.” Smiled Forest.
“No, I need Daceria to be with Kallman when he’s fighting Kedro. Without a barrier from magic Kallman will die if Keri shows her face.” Explained Aurora.
“Kuriame and Russell you two stay behind and lead the others to the safety of the hidden caverns. My mate Travis will lead you there.” Explained Aurora.
Russell and Kuriame quickly followed Travis and the rest of the snow wolfs.
Kallman stood in the front rubbing against Daceria. Daceria was unsure what he wanted.
Then Aurora tapped her on the shoulder. Daceria turned and looked into Aurora’s bright blue eyes and her smile.
“Daceria, Kallman wants you to get on his back. He doesn’t want to have to go slow to make sure you two aren’t separated.” Smiled Aurora calmly.
Daceria was a little uneasy about getting on Kallman’s back. She thought about Kai and what would happen if they didn’t hurry. That’s when it hit her, what her father and Darkstorm had tried to tell her, “You are the legacy of the silver wolves and you are the one who will kill Kedro.” Darkstorm had said. Ace had said. “You need a strong wolf to help you for you don’t have the physical ability to take on Kedro by yourself. Quietly Daceria got onto Kallman’s back and held her arms around his neck so she wouldn’t fall off. Kallman ran into the distance . The more Kallman thought about Kedro having a word to his younger brother the faster he ran. Kallman would not let Kedro get away not this time. Kallman was sick of Kedro’s games of cat and mouse, Kai was the mouse. Kallman was the cat and he was pursuing them at full speed. Kallman was prepared for some kind of trap. He didn’t expect for Kedro not to know that he was on his way to free his brother.

On the other hand Kedro and the hunters where almost to Aurora’s place when Kai stopped.
“Why are you stopping. I told you not to stop until we reached their hideout within the mountains.” Yelled Kedro. Kai turned to him and thought of a great cause.
“I need to go now.” He said. Kedro then looked to Adam.
“Adam take him behind a bush and make sure he doesn’t try to make a run for it.” Demanded Kedro.
“Yes sir!” Adam untied Kai’s hands and with the ropes tied his wrist to Kai’s wrist.
“Let’s get this over with. Kedro doesn’t like waiting.” Smiled Adam as they left to the nearest bush in sight. Kai quickly unzipped and tried to figure out a plan while using the bathroom. Kai couldn’t think of anything. Kai knew he wasn’t meant to really think things through. Aurora was the best at forming a plan of action.
“Come on hurry it up.” Yelled Adam not looking at Kai. Kai zippered his zipper back up and tapped Adam to get his attention. Kai did the one thing he knew would give him the most time. He punched Adam in the face as hard as he could. Adam fell and Kai untied his wrist and ran for it. His right leg slowed him down but he wouldn’t let Kedro kill Kallman or Aurora because of him. Kai kept running at a steady pace when he bumped into something furry and landed on his butt in the snow. Kai looked up to see who or what it was. It was Kallman in wolf form and Daceria was on his back. Kai sighed to himself Daceria was all right that meant Forest was too. Daceria got off Kallman’s back and embraced Kai. Kallman grunted and Daceria knew there was little time to explain their plan.
“Run back to Aurora’s and meet with Forest. Aurora wanted you to help with the final battle.” Explained Daceria.
Kai understood as he ran past them. Kallman immediately noticed his brother’s right leg was injured. Kallman knew Kai had always beaten him in races but if Kai and Kallman had raced today, Kallman would’ve won. He anger arose as he thought of the fact that Kedro had hurt his little brother and his fangs bared.
Daceria was just about to get back on Kallman’s back when Adam showed up with Kedro and one hundred hunters.
“Well, well, well if it isn’t the older brother Kallman. Known far and wide as the warrior of his clan and yet he is the reason that all is left is a brother and a half- sister.” Smirked Kedro. Kallman growled not being able to talk for the level of his anger was too high. He wanted to rip Kedro into pieces.
“Let’s not forget the princess though. My precious Daceria aren’t you tired of running and hiding? If you don’t love me, then kill me.” Laughed Kedro.
“I will kill you and I will continue my family’s legacy. You cannot have me and you especially can’t have my magic.” She said as a magical barrier surrounded them as long as they were in the barrier Keri’s spells were worthless to the fight.
“Curse them.” Snarled Keri clenching her fists.
“You’ll have to fight without me Kedro.” She sighed. Kedro entered the barrier, drew his sword and pointed it to Daceria.
“Take my words I will have the magic one way or another. There are two ways to gain the magic. The first is to have sex with you but the second is to kill the carrier of the magic.” Smirked Kedro.
“That must mean that you have my father’s magic.” Replied Daceria.
“No, I didn’t kill him. My now ex-hunter Russell was the one who gave him the final blow.” He smirked. Daceria’s heart sank why did Russell betray them or was this just a mind game of Kedro’s to distract her from the real world.
“I don’t believe you.” Growled Daceria drawing her sword.
“Believe what you want but know this I did not kill your father. I killed your brother.” He smirked. Daceria’s eyes filled with hate and regret then the fight began.
Daceria and Kedro’s swords clashed against one another, as Kallman stood prepared to lunch a full force attack.
“I will kill you.” Said Daceria as she attempted to take Kedro off his feet. Kedro jumped and landed swiftly.
“My love it’s impossible for you to beat me in a sword fight.” He smirked as he hit her left shoulder. Blood ran down her arm that was when Kallman got in front of her. Daceria knew it was up to both of them to beat Kedro.

On the other had Kai had finally made it back to the caverns. Kai panted and panted as he saw Forest. Forest helped him to his feet.
“Are you okay?” she asked concerned noticing Kai was favoring his right leg.
“...Yeah...I’m all right.” Kai heard a movement and turned around to see Keri looking straight at them.
“Well, Kai I guess you did lead us here after all.” Grinned Keri drawing her sword. Kai panted but couldn’t move.
“Don’t try to be brave your leg is broken.” Laughed Keri.
“Forest.” Whispered Kai. “Use your abilities to heal me then take her down.” Explained Kai barely able to stand.
“Your forgetting I’m not my sister, I don’t have the magic.” Cried Forest.
“Still my bloodline flows within you.” Smiled Ace holding onto Forest’s shoulder.
“How in the world?!?” shuttered Keri unable to believe what was in front of her.
“How many times does it take to kill one wolf?” she yelled.
“Just one my dear.” He smiled disappearing into the snow. Forest knew Ace had used his magic to bring his spirit down to them. Forest knew what she had to do. She had to fight fire with fire by using the magic she possessed because of Grace being a daughter of the legendary Ace.
“All right Keri, let’s get down to business.” Bravely smiled Forest as she thought of all the spells she had seen her sister use. Forest knew teleportation would not help but what other spells could she use. Then in the snow at her feet was a scroll. It had her name Forest on the front. She opened it and there were many spells she’d never seen before Forest cast a barrier spell that surround Kai. Kai stood trying to walk to her and fell to his knees. Forest looked to him and growled.
“Kai, I will be fine just rest.” Smiled Forest ever so calmly.
“No, I cannot rest not while all my friends are in the midst of battle. Forest let me at least be a healer for you.” Explained Kai now standing next to her. Keri looked at the two of them and smiled.
“Hey, lovebirds you didn’t forget I was here did you?” questioned Keri firing a fire spell. Forest casted a water spell and it blasted Keri.
“Not bad for a beginner.” Laughed Keri casting a range of fireballs toward them. Forest tired the water spell again but was burned with a few of Keri’s fireballs. Kai immediately healed the burns.
“Ah, I see you’re a healer.” Smirked Keri drawing her sword towards him.
“Then clearly that means I need to take you out first.” Keri charge aiming for Kai when a barrier surrounded them. Keri was tossed back to the ground.
“Grr...” she growled as she stood up wiping the snow off her clothes.
“It seems you are Manikai’s daughter after all.” Mocked Keri.
“Don’t regard me as his daughter. I am one of Ace’s clan.” Demanded Forest. Forest did not wish to be called Kedro’s older brother’s daughter. It was painful to her. Forest wanted her own identity and today was the day to gain it.
“Only a weakling surrounds themselves in a barrier.” Smirked Keri.
“Hmm...only a sick demented person would work for Kedro.” Shouted Forest.
“You don’t understand my abilities young lady.” Explained Keri disappearing and reappearing behind Kai. She stabbed her sword into his back. Kai fell and groaned in pain. Keri turned and pointed her sword at Forest.
“Well, now time to get serious.” She smirked using her magic to put a barrier around Kai.
“If you can’t beat me in half an hour your friend will die. You see I’ve injected poison in my sword every time I use it.” Smirked Keri.
“You...You...” mumbled Forest as she clenched her fist.
“Cat got your tongue?” laughed Keri.
“Maybe once I kill you I’ll take him as my price.”
“You cannot have Kai! He is part of my family! I love him!” screamed Forest as a green aura surrounded her. Her teeth began to grow, her fangs appeared as she transformed into her full demon.
“Has no one taught you anything about magic? Full demons are weak to fire.” Explained Keri about to fire a fire spell when Forest blocked it with a wall of water that came crashing down on Keri.
“Impossible.” She shuttered as she stood up soaked.
“There’s no way you can use magic in wolf form.”
“Nothing is impossible with God at my side.” Explained Forest still in wolf form.
“You talk but how?” now Keri was truly amazed. Keri glanced back and Kai was still on the ground breathing. Keri had to win fast if she were to help Kedro fight the others.

“Your tough girl I’ll give you that but your still not going to defeat me.” Smiled Keri pulling a scroll and putting it in her mouth. She pulled her sword to a fighting stance and muttered a spell. Her sword was now on fire and Forest’s wolf legs were chained by the ground with a magical green aura.
“I call this the blazing underworld.” Smirked Keri as she disappeared and reappeared many times slicing at Forest with her flaming sword. Keri landed to her feet as Forest turned to human form and fell to the ground. Keri stood next to her and picked her up by the neck of her shirt and her used her free hand to put her sword to her neck.
“Give up you can’t beat me and he will die no matter what you do.”
Forest began to cry as Keri kept explaining how she would make Forest watch Kedro kill Kallman. Forest thought of her sister Daceria. If it was Daceria she wouldn’t be crying she’d stand firm until the very end but Forest wasn’t Daceria. She was the daughter of Grace and Manikai. She wasn’t even supposed to live. Who was she anyway? She was just after demon compared to Daceria. It was always Daceria this, Daceria that, the silver wolf legacy and how she was the only one able to pass on the magic and yet Forest herself had magic the whole time and known nothing of it. Forest also thought of Kallman. He had took her when he had no point to life. Forest knew there was something more. A part of her that could defeat Keri and save Kai but how could she manage to pull off something in time.
“Any last words you wish to say before I kill you?” asked Keri.
“Just one die.” Stated Forest using her hands to punch Keri in the gut with a flaming fireball. Keri fell backwards onto the ground bleeding. Keri saw she was injured and fled the fight.
“We will meet again.” She said before disappearing with Kai.
“No, Kai!” cried Forest. All her hard work and Kai would still die.
Kai woke up in a bed. Kai thought just great captured again. Kai went to get up and found his body was too weak to stand and fell onto the hard floor.
“Don’t try to move, you only have ten minutes left.” Said Keri walking in.
“What in the world are you talking about?” asked Kai.
“I injected poison into your body in a mere ten minutes you will die.” Smirked Keri.
“Oh and your brother is going to die at the hands of Kedro.” She smiled running off to wherever Kedro and the others were.
“Stay out of this boy.” Growled Kedro.
“No I will protect Daceria as if she were Forest with my life.” Smiled Kallman now back in human form. “Let’s dance shall we?
“We shall.” Smirked Kedro as they clashed blades. Daceria put up a barrier to prevent anyone from entering the fight.

On the other hand Forest had found the secret entrance. She ran through each hallway desperate to find Kai in time. Forest found a door that was locked with a magical seal. Forest knew without a doubt that Kai was behind those doors. Now how to break the seal? Forest had to think fast, there wasn’t much time left for Kai or Kallman. Forest didn’t know much about magic and certainly no knowledge of seals.
Forest grabbed the scroll Ace had given her. She opened it and there were a world of spells. Forest trailed down the list until she found the spell for destroying magical seals. She quickly memorized it and put the scroll away. She quickly muttered the spell and opened the door to see Kai on a bed. Forest rushed to him, he was still breathing. There was a note attached to his shirt. Forest read it quickly.
“If you are reading this that means you fell for my trap. The real Kai is not poisoned and in a place you’ll never find him.” Signed Keri.
“If that’s true then who’s this on the bed?” asked Forest. The fake Kai transformed back into Russell.
“Russell what are you doing here?” asked Forest.
“Forgive me.” He said as he knocked her unconscious and tied her hands and left for the land of the dead to report back to Keri.
On the other hand Kai was in the land of the dead bound tightly by chains to a chair. Keri sat in the chair across from him. She was telling him all about the battle between Forest and her.
“She’s really something you know that. It’s a little sad to know she’ll die though.” Laughed Keri.
“Why don’t you just kill me. I’d rather die than be here forced to listen to you.” Explained Kai.
“If I kill you there wouldn’t be any fun when you want to die. Besides you’re a healer and we can use your abilities to further our goals.
“I refuse to help you guys.” Said Kai cocking his head up high.
“I think you’ll change your mind. Russell you may come in.” smiled Keri.
Russell entered carrying Forest in his arms tied and blindfolded.
“If you don’t help us, I will personally kill Forest right in front of you.” Smirked Keri. Kai had no choice he would have to follow their orders until he could find a way to release Forest and him from their deaths.
“Fine, just let me talk to her before we go.”
“Okay don’t take forever.” Smiled Keri as Russell took the blindfold off Forest and sat her in Keri’s chair. Kai knew they were listening so he kept his voice to a whisper.
“Are you all right Forest?” he whispered for her safety and his.
“I wanted to ask you the same thing.” Answered Forest.
“Just what is Keri going to do with us?” asked Forest.
“I know a little but I can’t say or something bad might happen to us.”
“They’re listening in aren’t they?” asked Forest.
“Yes, to make sure we don’t try to plan an escape behind their backs.”
“Oh and how are we supposed to escape when were both tied to chairs?” mocked Forest.
“Trust me, they know that we’ve escaped our bindings before. There is something I need to tell you though.” Stuttered Kai.
“What is it?” asked Forest.
“I’ve always had a huge crush on you. I love you Forest and would do anything if it meant you lived so if we see each other again please remember this.” Explained Kai when Keri walked in.
“That’s enough Kai. It’s time to go. I’ve gotten a report from Kyle, that Kedro needs our aid.” Keri took out her keys and freed Kai and they walked out together. Russell now stood in front of Forest a blade to her neck and a radio next to him in case Kai tried anything he would know.
Forest looked at Russell then to the sword pointed at her neck.
“Why?” asked Forest.
“Hmm...A hunter is a hunter until the very end. I was never your friend. I was only helping you and the others to gain your trust. Now that Kedro is sure of your defeat I am no longer needed as a spy.” Explained Russell.
“You are a spy for the hunters?” asked Forest starting to cry.
“Yes, and there is no need for tears. They are wasted on me, save them for the ones you love. Your mate Kallman will come here dead as a rock.”
“I don’t believe you! Kallman will not lose.” Screamed Forest.
“Be quiet.” He said inching the sword to her neck now.
“Once Kallman knows we have you he will not raise a hand to Kedro and that is when he will die and if he should continue to fight Keri will kill his brother right in front of him.” Explained Russell.
“It doesn’t matter my sister and my mate will find a way to win.” Smiled Forest hoping her statement would hold true.

Kallman and Daceria were still in the midst of battle with Kedro and his hunters.
“Daceria will this barrier stay up forever?” asked Kallman blocking Kedro’s sword.
“No, it has a limited time but I do believe you can beat him within that amount of time.” Explained Daceria.
“No problem I’ve waited for this day. Kedro you will pay for what you said to me.”
“Hmm...It doesn’t matter what I said, what really matters is what I do. Since you don’t know I’ll let Keri show you.” Laughed Kedro. Keri walked over the hill with Kai at her side.
“Kai hurry get over here!” yelled Kallman. Kai stayed beside Keri.
“What did you do to my brother?” asked Kallman.
“I didn’t do anything and neither did she. Kai is with us now. Kai tell your brother why your helping us.”
“Russell is a traitor and he has a sword to Forest’s neck at this very movement.” Explained Kai. Kallman looked to Daceria and then to Kedro.
“If you even think about continuing this fight one of them will die.” Smiled Kedro.
Daceria stepped up to Kedro. She slapped him in the face.
“I hate you!” she stated.
“Well my love are you ready to be mine once and for all? I would really hate to kill your friends and especially not your sister. Give it up you cannot defeat me or my hunters and if you try Kai will die.” Explained Kedro as Keri had a blade to Kai’s neck.
Daceria gazed into Kedro’s eyes and then looked to Kallman and Kai. What would all their hard effort mean if she just gave up? She had to think of something and fast. Daceria knew what she had to do.
“All right Kedro.” Just as Daceria was about to surrender Aurora jumped in between Kedro and Daceria.
“Aurora.” Whispered Daceria.
“You mustn’t surrender. We wolves fight to the death or not at all.”
“Hmm...How interesting. The legends are true. I’ve always heard there was a rare snow wolf hidden within these mountains but even you can’t stop me.” Laughed Kedro.
“Hmm...I may be rare but that certainly doesn’t mean I’m stupid. While I was distracting you Kai escaped with my mate Travis.” Smiled Aurora.
Kedro looked back to Keri who was on the ground unconscious. Kedro ran to her. Aurora quickly whispered to Kallman and Daceria to run. Kallman and Daceria stood still.
“Why aren’t you guys running?” asked Aurora.
“He has my mate and I will not allow him to live another day.” Explained Kallman in a rage.
“Wrong again.” Smiled Aurora. “Kuriame saved her and their both back at the den. I’ll explain it later just come with me.”
Kallman and Daceria quickly fled into the distance. Once back at the mountains Aurora had explained how she had strategized a plan ahead of time in case Kedro pulled one of his stunts which he had.
“You see I’d figured Kedro would pull a stunt by capturing the weakest of us and using it to his advantage.” Explained Aurora.
“Yeah, and it was easy knocking his girl out cold.” Laughed Travis with a grin.
“It’s not over though.” Spoke Daceria with a serious expression on her face.
“It will never be over until we defeat him.” Spoke Forest embracing her sister.
“I agree Kedro has to die if we are to have peace.” Spoke Kallman clenching his fists why hadn’t he killed him. Kallman thought maybe Kedro was beyond his skill but yet Kedro was a half demon like Daceria. Kallman would stop him.
“You know you guys are overreacting! I mean we did manage to hurt him pretty bad right?” smiled Kuriame trying to cheer the others up.
“He was hurt but sadly his finance is a sorceress capable of healing all his wounds.” Explained Kai.
“Okay, it’s settled. Kai will heal any who are injured and tomorrow we will set out and find Kedro. As a group I believe we can take him down.” Smiled Aurora. They all agreed tomorrow would be the day Kedro would die.

On the other hand Kedro was kneeling beside Keri.
“Wake up.” He whispered holding her hand to his chest. Kedro clenched his fist he swore to kill that wolf that had done this to his mate. Kedro scooped Keri into his arms and ran into the distance. Once back at their hideout he laid Keri on the bed in their room. Kedro kissed her forehead and removed the mask from her uniform and kissed her softly upon her lips.
“I love you and I will have vengeance on the one who harmed you.” Explained Kedro as he left the room. Tomorrow would be the day he died.
Mist surrounded the snow mountains as the sun risen into the day time sky. Kedro awoke in a daze the hazel of his green eyes shimmered in the morning light. Kedro arose and summoned all available units to the courtyard. Adam kneeled at the front as Kedro descended the stairs.
“Adam please rise.” Demanded Kedro who was still worried about Keri. Would she be okay here alone?
“I want you to stay behind and take care of Keri for me. She is unconscious and cannot defend herself if the enemy would attack.” Explained Kedro calmly.
“Yes sir.” Bowed Adam as he entered their hideout once more and went to Kedro’s bedroom to watch over Keri.
“Now as for the rest of you. Our goal is simple capture Daceria or die trying. This time we will not retreat. You are all hunters and today is the day to prove your loyalty. All those not willing to sacrifice it all please leave and don’t come back.” Muttered Kedro. Russell came to the front and spoke for the remaining hunters.
“A hunters is a hunter until the very end of his existence.”
“Thank you Russell. Now let us march to their hideout and take what is rightfully mine.” Laughed Kedro.

“The enemy’s attacking. We’re surrounded at all angles!” yelled Kuriame to Kallman and Kai. Kallman awoke and bopped him on the head.
“How are we suppose to rest with you saying that every five minutes!” groaned Kallman.
“Kuriame I can take over the watch if you’re tired.” Offered Kai grabbing his shirt and tossing it on.
“At last maybe finally I can get some sleep.” Smiled Kallman starting to snore. Five minutes later.
“Kallman wake up! Kedro is approaching the mountain at full speed.” Stated Kai.
“Ugh...really are you serious?”
“You lazy wolf you get out of bed!” demanded Aurora bopping him on the head.
Kallman stood up in shock in just his boxers.
“Aurora you’re supposed to be with Daceria and Forest in the other room.’ Stated Kallman.
“Get dressed idiot.” Demanded Aurora calling for the others to join them. Once all of them were dressed Aurora explained their strategy.
“Daceria you are to stay beside Kallman and Kai at all times. Myself, Forest and Kuriame will lead the front.” Explained Aurora as they formed their two lines and walked outside, as soon as Aurora could smell the snow Kedro had a blade to her.
“Hand over Daceria and I might let you live another day.” Smirked Kedro. Aurora looked into Kedro’s bright green eyes.
“Hmph...I do believe you are threatening me. I’m warning you not to do that again.” Smiled Aurora.
“Really well then hand over her or die.” He repeated with a smirk on his face. Kedro went to put the sword through her neck when he realized Travis was now in front of him in wolf form. Kallman and Kai were on each end of Daceria and Forest and Kuriame were working together on the hunters. Aurora joined in the effort.
“You know you really picked quite the girl. Just like the rest she only took me one punch.” Mumbled Travis.
“I’ll kill you!” shouted Kedro as he transformed into his full fox form. The fight went on for at least half the day.
“Forest use a fire spell on Kedro it will force him to return to human form.” Commanded Aurora knocking out more hunters. Forest nodded and with her free hand aimed a fire spell right at Kedro’s tail. It burned in flames. Kedro was forced into human form when Kai stabbed a sword threw Kedro’s heart. Kedro landed on his back as Daceria stood before him.
“This is to ensure you never come back.” Smiled Daceria as she and Forest together created an everlasting barrier around a coffin. Kallman and Travis tossed Kedro’s body into the coffin at which time Kai sealed it. Then Aurora walked up to Russell and picked him up the scarf of his shirt.
“Go back to her and tell her he’s dead. Afterwards tell her she’ll be dead if she decides to try anything.” Smiled Aurora tossing him to the side. Russell and the remaining fifty hunters fled from the snow mountains.
In the morning Kallman, Travis, and Kai buried Kedro in the ground outside the mountains.
“It’s time I went home.” Groaned Kallman.
“What about Adam will he come back now that Kedro is dead?” asked Forest.
“No sister I have to go to him and somehow make him remember who I am. Until that happens he will remain just as evil as before.” Explained Daceria.
“Who’s Adam?” asked Kuriame. Kai grabbed him and whispers. “Oh I see.” Kuriame laughed.
“I’m going home Forest. I need to talk with Ryan. Maybe he can help jog Adam’s memory.” She said as Ryan and her teleported away.
Meanwhile in the mountain lands the talk of Kedro’s death had reached Ace who was only still alive because of Keith. Keith had stopped Russell at the very last second from killing him.
“The fight is over. I am no longer needed.” Declared Ace as he stabbed himself in the heart. “Goodbye, Daceria.”
“You were a good man Ace. You have shown me the light and forever I am in your debt.” Spoke Keith as he buried Ace in the ground. Keith went outside to head home when he was surrounded by a pack of black wolves. The leader was in human form with ropes in his hands.
“I heard of Kedro’s death. Looks like you hunters aren’t a match for Daceria and that means a single hunter can’t take down all my black wolves and myself.” Smiled Zek.

“Hmph…What do the black wolves want with a guy like me? I’m just an ex-hunter and I couldn’t help you anyway.”
“Wrong, you and the girl are friends and if we capture you she’ll come with us without a fight.” smirked Zek.
“You really think that will work. Ha. You guys made me laugh.” smiled Keith.
“Listen kid all we want is the scrool. We don’t actually want to hurt the girl.” explained Zek.
“The scroll or the actual magic?” he questioned.
“Okay I suppose I’ll tell you. Before Daceria was born I thought he would give the magic to me. I mean why would he give it to his traitor of a son Darkstorm. Then to give it to a half breed of all things! I want vengeance and I will do whatever it takes to get that scroll form her.” explained Zek.
“You have no idea who your dealing with do you?” smirked Keith punching him in the face and running away in the distance. He was heading to Daceria’s tree. Once there he knocked on the door. Daceria answered and looked at Keith in confusion.
“Hi, Keith what brings you here?” asked Daceria smiling.
“Wolves…can…I…come…in…please.” panted Keith. Daceira invited him in and he flopped down on the couch. Daceria brought him a glass of water. He quickly gulped it down.
“Keith did you hear of the good news yet?” questioned Daceria.
“Yes, the black wolves told me of Kedro’s death. They said the hunters are getting weaker to be beaten by a half breed.” answered Keith.
“Black wolves?” asked Daceria.
“Yes, they want your scroll and I came here to tell you to be prepared.” answered Keith.
“Why would they want my scroll, they can’t use it?” questioned Daceria.
“Trust me, they will be here. Do you want me to stay for awile?” offered Keith.
“You may stay. You can sleep in Adam’s old room.” she smiled as she embraced him. Keith in response embraced her back.
“Don’t worry we’ll get him back soon I promise.” smiled Keith trying to reassure her for even he didn’t know the answer to getting Adam back to their side.
“Thank you Keith.” smiled Daceria.

On the other hand Keri had just awoke in Kedro’s bed.
“Russell where is Kedro?” demanded Keri seeing him in front of her.
“Um…um…” stuttered Russell.
“I said where is he?” she said getting up and slapping him hard on the cheek.
“He’s dead.” answered Russell.
“What?!?” shouted Keri loud enough to get the attention of all the hunters. “Dead my finance is dead?”
“If he wasn’t he would be here now wouldn’t her?” answered Ralph the old hunter.
“Shut up!” demanded Keri. Keri thought of Kedro and what he had told her. “I only want her for the magic you’re the one I love.” Keri began to cry and demanded to be left alone.
“Why Kedro why?” she cried. “I could have taught you magic but yet you still wanted her. What is my purpose now? Without you and your love I’m breaking. Tell me what I should do now!” she cried. Adam entered the room.
“Sorry, Keri. I know the answer if your interested.” smiled Adam.
“Tell me.” she said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.
“Kill her.” he smirked. “It’s the solution to all our problems.”
“Kill Daceria? Just how am I supposed to do that?” asked Keri.
“Heh, leave this to me. I know Kallman and his siblings have been troubling us so I figured I would send one of our hunters there with a white flag. Get them thinking that we don’t want to fight. That’s when you Keri will wear an elegant dress and invite them to a peace dinner. If they should refuse I have a trap planted within the mountain and will set it off it they say no.
“What happens when they say yes?” asked Keri.
“Simple we plan a trap here as well. Plus we have something they want me.” laughed Adam. Keri was silenced Adam was truly evil and brillant as well.
“Thanks, Adam.” smiled Keri as she embraced him.

Meanwhile Kallman and Forest had returned to the swamp. Kai had decided to stay with Aurora for a while. Charlie came out of hiding and nudged against Kallman.
“Sorry buddy. I know it’s been a long time.” he smiled feeding Charlie. Forest came over and hugged them both.
“It’s good to be home.” she smiled.
“Forest I’m going to take a quick dip and clean myself up. Afterwards I’m going to get your sister and we’re going to bring Adam back together.” smiled Kallman disappearing.
“Heh, I guess I’ll stay here and keep Charlie company.” laughed Forest petting Charlie’s head.
“Master.” mumbled Charlie.
“My name is Forest not master.” smiled Forest. Charlie shook his head at her. He was trying to tell her something.
“Master!” he screamed. Froest was confused.
“Master! Master!” screeched Charlie. Forest looked behind her and was surrounded on all sides by black wolves.
“Hello Forest.” the leader siad as he knocked her unconscious with just one punch.
“Rachel go and do your part.” smirked Zek.
“Yes boss!” she bowed as she ran toward the spring. Zek and the others disappeared with Forest.
Rachel could see him taking off his shirt and jumping into the spring. It was so typical of him to wear jeans in the spring. At leat this would be easier than expected. She wiped her hair back out of her face and approached him.
“Hello, Kallman it’s been a long time.” she smiled to him.
“Rachel?” he looked up at her. The same Rachel her looks hadn’t changed one bit. Rachel still had the same black hair and her deadly brown eyes.
“Yeah and you’re Kallman.” she giggled as if nothing had changed between them.
“Why are you here?” asked Kallman getting out of the spring to dry out. He sat donw at a rock near her.
“Isn’t it obvious I came back Kallman for you.” she smiled. Kallman suspected something but sense Rachel had no connection to the hunters he was stumped.
“I should have never left you, Kallman. Zek treats me like a pet and I want to be treated like a person again.” explained Rachel.
“Find someone else.” replied Kallman crossing his arms. He had Forest now. Forest if Rachel was here that must mean the black wolves sent her to distract him. Kallman felt stupidity in the depths of his being. Why hadn’t he seen it.
“Where are they?” asked Kallman as he tossed his shirt on.
“Wow, you figured it out didn’t you?” smiled Rachel as she handed him a letter. Inside a picture of Forest tied and gagged with a letter.
Dear Kallman,
Bring me Daceria’s scroll and I’ll let her live. If you try any tricks I will kill her understood?
Sincerely, Zek.
Kallman crumpled the paper and looked at Rachel.
“I suppose he sent you to ensure I got the scroll?” questioned Kallman the anger in his eyes was as plain as day.
“Basically. Your not as dumb as you look Kallman. That girl is she my replacement?” smirked Rachel.
“No, Forest is not a replacement. She is my true love and I will get her back.” growled Kallman.
“My, my your temper hasn’t changed still quick to anger. That’s one thing I love about Zek he nevers gets angry.”
“All right Racehel let’s go.”
“I’m staying right here if I go it would be suspious to Daceria. You must go alone.” smiled Rachel.
“Then how will you know if I try something?” questioned Kallman.
“Hmph you think Forest is the only thing we have. One of the wolves is waiting nearher tree. Then here’s another picture. It was a picture of Charlie’s plant mouth tapped and a wolf with a gun pointed at him.
“You leave Charlie out of this!” shouted Kallman.
“Sorry we needed all the aces to get you to work with us.”
“Don’t tell me you have my brother too?” asked Kallman.
“No, we don’t have him but our warriors are hunting every inch of this swamp.” smiled Rachel.

Kallman sighed to himself and began heading for Daceria’s tree. If he told Daceria would they know? Their wolves were watching the forest but Daceria would teleport them to Aurora’s now. Where they could talk about what to do about Forest. Once to the tree he knocked on the door. Daceria answered. “Kallman isn’t Forest with you?” she asked right away not used to seeing Kallman with Forest. Kallman gave her a look and they went inside. Once inside Kallman explained the whole thing.
“Are you serious?” asked Keith who knew of the black wolves.
“If I wasn’t why would I be here?” he groaned even though Keith was a good hunter Kallman still didn’t trust him one bit.
“Here Kallman.” Daceria handed him the scroll. “Even with that he won’t be able to get the magic.”
“Daceria if he figures that out…” mumbled Kallman.
“Trust me.” smiled Daceria whispering that shen ow had Ace’s scroll so it didn’t matter anyway. Kallman left with the scroll in his hand. He hoped Daceria was right and they would let Forest go. Here returned to the swamp where Rachel was waiting.
“Figures your as slow as can be.” she smirked.
“Hmph. Now will you free Forest?” asked Kallman as he handed her the scroll. Rachel glanced at it to make sure it was real.
“All right stay here.” smiled Rachel as she disappeared into the woods. Kallman waited at least an hour when the wolves returned.
“Kallman.” smiled Zek.
“Give me back Forest I have done what you requested.” he said seeing Forest nowhere in sight.
“You should have learned the first time boy. You’re not meatn to have such lovely girls.” laughed Zek pushing Kallman back into a tree. Then Zek pulled his sword and held it to him.
“She’s mine now. Just like before you lost everything Kallman. Give it up your not worthy of having her. After all she looks, just like Ace’s daughter Daceria. Maybe she can teach me how to use this scroll.” laughed Zek.
“Forest is mine, I propsed to her and she agreed to marry me.” groaned Kallman.
“Oh yes I almost forgot here you go.” he tossed Kallman the ring and a letter written by Forest.
Dear Kallman,
I have decided to stay with Zek and his wolves. I can’t be with you anymore. I’ll always love you.” Forest.
Tears ran down his face. His whole world was crashing around before him. Forest had sworn she wouldn’t be like Rachel and with this letter she had broken his trust in her.
Zek and the wolves disappeared. Kallman didn’t move didn’t even think he could breathe. Kallman somehow managed to find his way back home where Charlie was happily free again. Kallman went to him and embraced him.
“I guess I’ll have to love you the way I loved her.”
“Master…” groaned Charlie sensing he was upset. “Charlie I’m not your master. I’m just a wolf with a broken herar.”
On the other hand Forest was still held up in a chair. Zek entered the room.
“He fell for it!” he laughed.
“Why did you make me write that letter.” cried Forest.
“You wouldn’t have wanted him dead now? I could’ve killed him the second he handed over the scroll. You can stay with us. We will treat you like royalty.” he smirked as he stroked her chin.
“Don’t touch me!” she screamed.
“Yeah, you’re Kallman’s type all right. Quiet and dangerous. No worries after a week or two we’ll have you just like Rachel here.”
“Let me go!” demanded Forest. “Not much you can do to stop me from keeping you now is there? I gave Kallman the letter. You should’ve seen his face! He broke into pieces when he saw you signed it.”
“I didn’t have a choice. You told me you would kill him and Charlie if I didn’t.” cried Forest.
“Listen girl you are mine now and you’ll accept it whether you like it or not.” he laughed as he kissed her lips. Forest turned away and spat.
“You’ll change.” smiled Zek as he left the room. Forest had to think of something. She had to escape and tell Kallman the truth. She wriggled her hands free of the ropes. She went for her scroll to find it gone. Just great now how would she get home? Forest knew that Daceria didn’t need her scroll to teleport. Forest muttered the spell and reappeared in the swamp. She saw Kallman embracing Charlie tears running down his face. Forest ran to him.
“Kallman!” she cried. Kallman looked and saw her. The letter still clenched in his hands.
“Liar.” growled Kallman warning her not to come closer.
“Kallman please let me explain.” pleaded Forest.
“Why your just another Rachel. Leave me alone.” Kallman walked away not even daring to take one last look at her.
“I was forced to sign it. They said they would kill you if I didn’t!” yelled Forest panicing.
“Hmph. Go away.” snorted Kallman jumping up and entering his treehouse.
Charlie growled at her and snorted.
“Master.”
Forest walked to the tree and sat donw. If she couldn’t have Kallman she had no purpose. He love story was over.
Kallman was watching her was it true? He knew it was the real Forest. He couldn’t help it he started crying again and he saw Charlie nudging Forest. Forest was crying and crying.
“Oh Charlie what do I do? He doesn’t believe me and I’m telling the truth. That stupid black wolf kidnaps me and when I finally escape he’s taken away the most valuable thing I had.”
“Master.” nudged Charlie.
“Uh huh, your master and my future husband.” cried Forest.
Kallman jumped down in front of her and smiled.
“Forgive me Forest.” he asked handing her the ring.
“Kallman let’s be a couple again.” smiled Forest drying her tears away.
Kallman embraced her and picked her up into his arms. He entered the tree house and put his couch into a bed. Carefully he stripped her and she stripped him and they made love. It was the night that Kallman truly trusted someone and that someone was Forest.
Meanwhile in the snow mountains Travis was teaching Kai the basics of combat.
“You see all you need is a sharp blade and deterimention to win fights.” instructed Travis.
“Heh…heh..”panted Kai as he continued trying to hit Travis. Travis wasn’t as tall as Kallman but he was just as strong.
“Hey sweet thing how come you didn’t teach your baby brother how to fight?” asked Travis with a grin.
“How many times must I say it? Kai is a healer. He is not a warrior like his elder brother and he’s not a stragist like myself.” answered Aurora.
“Well he managed to put the sword in Kedro’s heart.” smirked Travis.
“Well he does have his moments.” she giggled as she messed up his spiky hair.
“Hey!” groaned Kai. “I’m not a kid you know.”
“Your still the baby therefore I have to mess with you a little. Afterall our mother did it all the time. She was always spoiling you and yelling at Kallman.
“You’re not our mother.” groaned Kai remembering the good ole days before his family had fallen apart.
“I’m not her but I miss her. I know that of the three of us you knew her the least.” smiled Aurora kissing his forehead.
“Ah, leave me alone sis.” Kai went outside and saw Keri approaching wearing a dress and Russell beside her holding a white flag of surrender. Kai went to her.
“Keri?” he questioned.
“Oh hello Kai. I’m here to surrender to you and the others.
“What others?” asked Kai.
“Daceria, Forest and Kallman of course!” explained Keri.
“They left.” answered Kai.
“So then you’re the only one still here?” asked Russell.
“Yeah it’s just Aurora, Travis, Kuriame, and myself everyone else went home.”
Russell whispered to Keri and he walked up to where Aurora was now standing.
“I was sent by our new leader Keri to surrender. Without Kedro alive, Daceria doesn’t interest us anymore or Forest.” explained Russell bowing and waving his flag.
“Do you really thing I’m that stupid?” smirked Aurora kicking snow in his face. “Go away and never come back.”
Russell dropped his flag and hurried back to where Keri was. Whispered and went on his way.
“Kai please accept our surrender.” cried Keri now kneeling to him.
“I don’t want to fight. Kedro’s death is making me lose my mind and I just don’t know what to do.”
“Stand up.” answered Kai.
“Will you come to a peace dinner tomorrow?” asked Keri.
“Sorry I can’t. I can at least tell you that I accept your surrender.” smiled Kai.
Keri left not knowing what to say to Kai’s response. Sitting alone in her room she thought of Kedro. It had just started as a simple job but she had fallen for his looks and charms. Keri decided then and there that she would have revenge, she would go with Adam to Daceria’s tree and kill her for once and for all.
