Microsoft is taking it seriously. I don't know too much about it, but my mom is a teacher and she got an email yesterday from their technology director about it. Seems to affect networks I guess? Spread through networks? I don't know that much about it.

Apparently it makes infected computers look like they have the patch/update that's supposed to protect them from it. So if someone checks a network for machines that don't have the update, any that are already infected won't show up.

I think, anyway. I have a Mac but I skimmed some things so I could explain it to my mom xp

I thought I had it cause my comp got a "stop error" but I did some messing around and it was some other virus that my program eliminated
