Well at first i was skeptic, but now that ive heard it, im pumped! lol
The theme is:
" Star Trek: Through the Years"
we were shocked lol but the musics good and its a fun theme lol

Wow! That is very origanal!
Idk, the drum majors are thinking that Moten Rouge* i don't know how to spell it cuz I never watched it.
It sounds cool but our band isn't that advanced yet. They would have to kick their butts into HIGH gear to finish one song before the first game a week after school starts.

Are you talking about Moulin Rogue??? Because if you are... I AM JEALOUS... Moulin Rouge is amazing, you should check out RCC. They did a Moulin Rogue show a couple years back... Our Band Director doesnt tell us till our end of the year banquet. But i am almost certain that it will be ANOTHER Gary P. Gilroy show... >_> He has done a GPG show for the last 3 years. (We have a conspiracy that he has a contract with Gary.... he has done one of Gary's new shows every year that they have came out. O_O)

My BD hasn't decided yet unless he is saving it for the end of the year picnic. He said a whil back he was planning on doing something along the lines of a soundtrack. I just know it isn't going to be another rock show. He said he switches off every year, and that was this years. I hoping for something like the Sound of Music or disney. Disney probably won't happen though. It is so popular here.
I'm just hoping we don't get something boring. Band itself is fun, but certain music is more challenging and keeps overweight me staying in band. Got to love the music, right?

Hopefully your band will do it some justice. xD This year we are going to be doing Broadway then and now but I am not sure what songs exactly...we probably won't know until the end of the school year.

We don't know our marching show yet, but I can't wait till we do. Cause, knowing our BD, it'll be great. Cause my freshmen year we did Carry on my wayward son, Yesterday, and Free. And last year we did a Bon Jovi theme.

We are doing a show titled Look up and it is so freaking amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! one of the songs is from Moulin Rouge the song is called One day I'll fly away and holy crap....there are runs like no ones business and its just amazing...we started learning it and its nice!! ill post some shots once we start doing drill and actually get some clips of it...

Marching band....Ive missed it these past few months. But anyway...Im actually not allowed to share anything about my show since Im Assistant Drum Major....the band doesnt even really know anything about it yet. Lets just say itll be freakin AMAZING though. And we're going to BOA this year (Bands of America for those of you who dont know) these marching season is already giving me adrenaline rushes.....but the music is still being copyrighted and written by Phantom Regiment!

So today my BD announced that he has known our show next year for two weeks. He says he is waiting to get a cd of the music so we can listen to it beforehand. Gah! He refuses to tell us before. He said it is due any day now. It might have come today, or tomorrow, etc. It is annoying the crud out of me!
And our student staff auditions were yesterday. I didn't make section leader, or drill instructor. And my opponent was making more mistakes then I was, and didn't do well teaching the rythm. And her rythm was easier. It made me mad...
