Well, i think that people should stop killing seals as a sport, or any animal. I mean it's ok for food, but not for entertainment! That's what I DON'T like about hunting. Any ideas?

God, i love animals, i hate how ppl always jus hunt them for a game and sumtimes leave their bodies to rot in the middle of a forest, it's just so cruel, how ppl treat animals.

I am a hunter. Yes, that means I find animals, and shoot them. Any respectable hunter never leaves his kill. We eat what we shoot, or give it to somebody who will, if we won't.
Why do we hunt? Yes, for fun, but also because we have a taste for real animals. It's the natural cycle of things; hunters hunt, and the prey dies.
And I love animals, too. I hate to see them abused, or mistreated, just like the rest of you. I don't think hunting should be thought of as animal cruelty, because it's quite the natural thing, if you take care of your kill, at least.

Hunting, it's a hard issue to address. Hunting for the pure thrill of killing animals is ok to a level. When it becomes a person's only thought, or matures to a constant hobby is when i draw the line. I live in the woods, the deer, bears and other wildlife can build up to a point when it is an unhealthy environment. When too many female species have too many young it becomes hard to sustain the life and leaves to an over production and alot of useless animals. When hunting is used properly it simply eliminates this to have a healthy balanced forest. I'm against hunting even for those respectable reasons, when the hunters do not dispose of the body efficiently. I'm against animal abuse and domestic animal hunting as well as endangered and threatened species hunting. Certain animals are meant to be eaten, they are what humans were meant to hunt for in respectable limits. Such animals as seals, whales and other animals, they used to have a purpose back when modern technology wasn't around. Their blubber for oil, they were used wisely, now they aren't and where we should draw the line at keeping them in balance. The earth has order, humans need to maintain order because we are the only species to recognize it. Animals don't know order, only to mate and reproduce that's their genetics ours is so much more. We need to take responsibility to clean up the forest and put things back into proper balance. I hope i didn't offend anyone simply my thoughts on the issue. This is a horrible practice. i mean how people can do this is beyond me. i mean when my ancestors hunted they used everything. but the people who just do it for fun...sick. it makes me scared for when its gonna happen to us

see i myself would NEVER hunt. But i do agree to respectable and quality hunting. Where the all body is used for all purposes and nothing is left to waste. And i agree with you, i'm getting scared of when it'll start happening to us. To think, it's already started, the genocides around the world killing innocent people for NOTHING. Same thing when it comes to animals, makes me horribly sick, and fearful!

i get that some people hunt and then eat what they have killed and i kinda get that like we buy it from the supermarket but wehavent killed it someone has but we still eat it.
but what i hate is the people who hunt and leave the animals on the ground just chillin there
what i hate even more is when people hit animals when they are driving and they just keep going and there is a dying animal lying on the road.
and then people just keep running it over

Hunting for food is fine to me cause nature has to kill to survive.....but hunting for trophies and such is what i don't like. Many people also hunt illegaly for money and such which is worse than trophies. evil

Well honestly, I believe hunting isn't exactly the greatest thing. I mean, yes i guess if people have no other option for food but to hunt, but I think that if people really thought about it and put it on a need or want basis, hunting would definitely be on the want basis. I mean, really? Is it that great stalking a poor defenseless creature that thrilling? Or is it that thrilling to kill it? How would people like being hunted? But wait, people hunt people too.
I think the answer to this problem should be that people look within themselves for the answer on what to do to stop this. The world has a natural balance, and I think people totally messed it up. It's only fair that people take a bit of time to think about the environment and the other creatures that share this planet with us.
