Seriously. Everyone I've talked to that supports Obama voted for him because:
-Obama's black. He should be our president because he's black and we've never had one before.
-Obama's young. We need a young guy because JFK was young and JFK was a good president.
-Obama says he'll give poor people money.
My responses:
-Wow...A black president. I for sure would vote for a black president if he would do something good for those who work hard and earn money for their jobs.
-If Obama's young, how the hell does he know what he's doing. He has no experience leading. Shouldn't we have someone that knows what he's doing leading us?
-Q: Where is he getting the money? A: Why from the hardworking americans who pay the already that graduated highschool and went to college. Q: Well don't poor people deserve the money? A: That's asking if people who don't want to work hard think that they deserve as much money as rich hardworking people have. Also, did you know, the ones Obama is placing taxes on are 100% employers? These employers and business owners pay you for your work. Since obama is taxing them even more, there is less money they have. So to make money, they'll have to cut back on the payment of employees. So what's that mean? That means less jobs are out there. We already have very few jobs as it is. Obama's tax plan is gonna bite everyone in the a**, and we think he's still the bomb.
So tell me, why did your friends vote for obama. Or if you did vote for him, (in which i dont know why you're here) why did you vote for him?

I agree with you completely jaxon. I actually saw an interesting political cartoon about "spreading the wealth"Let me find it.....nope, can't find it.... Sorry! Answers sad more or less) 1.Barack being black is just an excuse for the democratic party to call anyone who is against him "racist", and it gave the voters incentive to vote for him, because otherwise they would be deemed "racist", even though that no one really knows who you voted for. 2. JFK was probably a once in a millennium kinda guy. And, he actually had experience in politics, so he was a good political candidate. 3. It was those "poor people's" fault they became poor, because they weren't smart economically, or they were into drugs or alcohol. It sounds mean, but they got themselves into the situation that they are in, they can get themselves out. Thanks

Well in my county the excuse people used as to why they voted for him: ~Obama is black "He is my bro fom the hood." Is what one woman said.
~Young voters but older than me used the excuse "He represents me and he brings new ideas to the table unlike that old fart McCain." One man said.
~Don't even get me started on the poor thing. Come to this county and you see the product of this messed up government. One woman said "I a votin' for Obama cause he promised me I was gonna gets me a check." As sad as it is to say women get pregnant for a living here. They get money that way. One woman took her seventeen year-old daughter to the doctor and asked him "What's wrong with her." He replied "Nothing, what do you think is wrong with her?" She said to him "Well somethins got to be wrong with her cause she ain't pregnant yet." That is what happens here. The girl eventually got pregnant but lost the baby when she got drunk and had a 4-wheeler accident.
Yeah I know they're brilliant. I've put up with them my whole life. -_-

The Fire in me impacts over you, too; but it doesn't warm you. I voted for Obama because Sara Palin scared the hell out of me. There are somethings that she has done in her policical career that I don't agree with and I didn't want her to have more power.
Sarah Palin vs. The Flobots/Parody of The Flobots Handlebars
My heart is poison for you! My heart is poison for you!

adventchild11471 3. It was those "poor people's" fault they became poor, because they weren't smart economically, or they were into drugs or alcohol. It sounds mean, but they got themselves into the situation that they are in, they can get themselves out. Thanks Oh, really? So you've never had a bad situation?
I've gotten a car totaled (Not by any fault of my own.) a scholarship for college canceled because they ran out of funds (Also, not my fault.) I got mugged on the way out of the bank and lost $400 dollars that I was going to use for school books (Also not my fault.) Then I got laid off because my work was downsizing. All in a week. I'm only 21 and that week, though nothing that I did, has all but ruined me financially. I did nothing wrong, but I have no money now. Who's fault is it?
So, how can you say that poor people are the only ones to blame for their situation? Sometimes good people hit hard times and they can't make ends meet.
Saying that it is only their fault is incredibly narrow minded, I'm sorry.

ive been hearing it was because: He is black. He will support gay rites ( ends up not doing so ) He will end the war and our economy will be better. Sarah Palen looks like a porn star. John McCain will die in office. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1.Obama isnt fully black,so he isnt the 1rst black president,i mean really,if a president was half Native American, then would they be considered Native American? 2.just because he is democratic doesnt he means he is for gays. 3.The War is to protect us,i dont think you would want another 3k people dying again. 4.So what,Sarah Palen is hot and smart which is perfect for any vice. 5.He is older and wiser,he will have tons of money to stay alive. 6.IM TIRED OF YOU RACIST MOTHER ******** WHITES ARENT BAD PEOPLE.

Most people voted for Obama because: 1: He's black (of course) 2: No one will have to work hard anymore because Obama will give them a government check. 3: He's black 4: With all due respect to pro-choicers, Obama's pro-abortion, which means people can dally (leave that to the imagination) with whoever they want and if it leads to a pregnancy, they can kill the baby to avoid responsibility. (I'm not talking about pro-choicers in general. I'm just talking about Obama) 5: He'll "bring people together" (yeah right) 6: He has "healed the wounds of racism" because he's black
My Response: 1: Who freaking cares if he's black? The color of your skin doesn't make you a better president. 2: He's backrupting America with a "stimulus" that isn't really stimulating the economy 3: Who cares if he's black? He's a socialist. 4: He's not just pro-choice, but pro-abortion. He voted four times against the Born Alive Act, which would require medical care for babies who survive botched abortions. (Once the baby's out of the womb, choice doesn't apply) 5: Whose he "bringing together"? He's the most divisive president we've ever had. 6: Just because he's black doesn't mean racism is dead. Eventually the race card loses it's effect and people sometimes retaliate.

Before the Obama election people kept assuming I was racist because I was not for him so I said it was called the white house for a reason.
He should follow Kennedy's lead and take a bullet to the brain.
I can understand him wanting to help, but that is a piss poor way of getting s**t done. If one of my pipes springs a leak I can wrap it in ductape. It will help a little for a while, but in the long run nothing has really been fixed. His heart is in the right place, but good intentions alone won't do d**k to help. What America needs to do is look back at FDR. He, like Obama, assumed that the best way to solve the money was to spend money. His plan wasn't just to give people the money, but rather to commission the constructions of various large structures and founding agencies to take care of problems such as food and drug quality. Even more importantly this created jobs which the people greatly needed. I don't mean to sound racist, but we should do more about these illegal Mexicans. We should close the borders, bulk up immigration and border patrol workers, and use a harsher punishment on the illegals. This will right off the bat create more jobs, and will hopefully keep the illegals out. Our catch and release fishing approach isn't helping all that much.

I don't know why McCain would have brought that up. As for average Joe every time I heard them use the race card I wanted to abort their child and force them to eat it in an omelet. Then of course were those who used various racist jokes. I was amused when it was used in jest, but less so when it was serious.
