agreed but I guess they were going for the more industrial area feel.
i felt that the area didn't even closely resemble santa monica. i happen to live right across the street from the woodlawn cemetary, the cemetary that locke was in, and that cemetary in the episode was nothing like the actual cemetary in santa monica. after the shots were fired locke fled and when he leaves the cemetary there was a parking structure in the background. the only parking structure in the area would be the smc parking structure but that is located on pico blvd. but all the only entrances, and exits, to the cemetary are on 14th st. and michigan ave.
i understand that the show is shot in hawaii but they could have done a better job with santa monica
