The ship had been sailing calm for weeks. No sea monsters, English armadas, or magic. Just smooth straight cruising. Austin had stopped steering to retire to his cabin for the rest of the morning, he was making something he had not had time to give attention to for a while: his studies. He closed the door to his cabin, walked to his desk, sat down and opened his current book: Ice, Fire, & Dragons II. Opening the book he flipped to the section focusing on the largest cunning and usually evil of dragon kind: Red Dragons. He resumed where he had left off, their flight patterns.
Austin, then relaxed and thought "My this is rare. Nobody asking me how to do something, or to do something. I am getting some peace and quiet. I wonder, if the crew would agree with me that red dragons are fascinating? Tesability no doubt Kerobian maybe. Lyssan? Hm..wild card. Yuki? Oh she would preform experiments like always. Commissar? Have a friendly chat most likely. Link? Ask me for help or run. Well I would love to meet one, in fact riding one would be a dream come true, but I should not get my hopes up back to reading." Austin flipped the page to "Taming Reds".
