I'm trying out for section leader of the battery next month and I need a solo piece. But I have no idea what to play, please pleas please help me!!!

Well, I'm no expert (considering that I'm a timpanist) BUT some pieces that are absolutely amazing that I have heard are 'Kracken' and 'Electric Wheelchair'.

Of course it totally depends on your skill level. Just a couple of thoughts ^^.

I've heard of electric wheelchair, but I have a feeling that another person trying out is going to play that. But I will look at the other one. Thanks!!
