SO HEY. Did you know that gays are stupid because when you insult one, they all turn emo? Yea, and they're going to go to hell and be burnt to a crisp. Not to mention they infect all the straight people with their god-hates-you disease, GRIDS (Gay Related Immune Deficiency). Haha, have fun.

How often do you deal with it? How severe is it usually, and what do you do in response?

I'm asking because while my school is generally open-minded, I (and others) experience homophobia pretty often, and I want to know what you guys do about it.

I actually havent experienced someone confronting me with homophobia.
Closest ive got was when my uncle was saying something about gays all being sluts and spreading HIV to straights or something...

I probably wouldnt do anything if someone said it to me. I dont like confrontations and if it ended in violence Id be dead. Id probably just walk away. Its not like one homo is going to change their mind about gays.

yeah there's some homophobia here
even though this is the most open minded country really when it comes to homosexuality
but most of the stuff I experience is jokingly, so I don't pay attention to it
it's only half serious most of the time
