Anime Boston rules. Sure last year was "Line Con" and nearly everyone spent the first full day waiting to check in. Despite that I had a blast, and will be returning this year for another 3 full days of mayhem...in a brand new outfit. Some may remember my Chocobo from last year. Well much as I love that costume, I wanted to do something different this year. I wanted a new costume and so...this is what happened:   mrgreen I will be attending this year's Anime Boston as the Companion Cube. You can't really see the headband in this pic, but I've got a headband that matches the gloves. So for discussion: Cosplay, Anime Boston, have you gone to Anime Boston? Are you going this year?

I've never been to a con. But be sure that your companion cube isn't easily accessible. Fanboys have odd ways of showing appreciation to inanimate objects.

xd It's a little hard to tell, but this costume includes boots that nobody would want to be kicked with. And I WOULD kick with them if needed xp They're not spikey or steel-toed, but they would still hurt. Also, if I survived a con dressed as a Chocobo rider, I think I'll survive with a big cardboard box guarding me from being glomped. I've never had a problem with creepy fanboys before 3nodding

I'm currently hosting a contest in the ATG clan...
I cosplayed once, I went to the midnight release for Super Smash Bros. Brawl dressed as Luigi.
...The prize is 5k. Why not swing by and check it out?

I was thinking of carrying around a sign, but I didn't know what to write on it. I don't want to be unapproachable though. xp @Roland: That's awesome! Heck, I'll go to Anime Boston, but I'll be going as Honoka again. Still, those combat boots of mine can fend off any creepy fan boys. Even a toy katana can be dangerous in my hands!
